Omg, I've had rapid rehousing like 2 years ago! What a freaking joke! They gave me 2weeksto find a landlord what would let me move in AND THAT ALLOW you to let the program pay for the first month rents and a deposit... But the problem is the program has been known to not PAY these fee's up-front, which makes it nearly impossible to find a landlord that will accept the funding, AND if you do find that landlord.. EXPECT THE HOME TO BE IN THE WORST PART OF TOWN.. keep in mind there are also many others, that also are looking for these types of landlords, and you only have a two week window.. so yeah, there's that🤦🏼‍♀️

42 surgeries, because of bad housing I can't recover. I am going up dangerous stairs after, 2 hip replacments and 5 overall surgeries knee total 2x, just last 2 years. i have been robbed at all the section 8 homes that I have been in. I want to let my son see that I can walk finally and have a home, I am well, a dr. broke my femur 2x in 1981 and 2015 . please I am not greedy. I just want a cabin or hud fixer upper in a rural area. I was a forest ranger. I was happy once. [lease I have no money but I will rise again , its hard alone.
