Internet costs money to those providing it so it will probably never really be "free", but it sure could be a lot cheaper. I know dang well it doesn't cost $45 a month to supply me with 10Mbps/1Mbps with less than 250GB. It shouldn't cost more than about $15 for such a slow plan. That's the fastest internet available at my location in the USA. It used to be $80 a month.

Just read the fine print. They make you enter credit card information and when you get to 400 MB they will automatically "top up" your data for a fee. So they automatically charge your card unless you purposely disable that feature. Most people don't realize they've been charged until AFTER the fact and their policy is NO REFUNDS. It's a good option if you can figure out how to disable certain things.

I've been thinking about having a backup card in my depreciated phone so it has emergency service and I just haven't bothered to see what the hassle is for making sure I pay only for the device or SIM card and no subscription service, or if I'd be better off asking the government for a SIM card.

One of these could replace your need to get data, at L'Auberge Solutions like 480p im pretty sure you could watch videos on KZbin for 12 hours. So if that's all you're using it for I think you're all set. And I think you should get a couple hours at 720 P as well. Just make sure and shut off all other apps and background apps or at least restrictive usage with another app

They probably use AT&T towers that have a weak signal here. On some smartphones have what Is called Hot Spot Tethering and through a USB cable can be connected to a computer and use computer Internet. I have Windstream and leaving It almost 100 dollar a month bills In June.

It's only free up to 500MB. After that it's 0.025 cents a MB. That figures out to $25 a GB. So 5GB would end up costing $125.00, 10Gb would cost $250. That can add up to very expensive internet access. The monthly plans are cheaper but they're still pretty high compared to say T-Mobile. Also the throughput is very slow.
