This is freaken great!!! Many thanks for the info. Your tool is basically what people sell to take the pallets apart; excellent job on making your own. I use the smaller 1x pieces for making shelves for canned goods; they are perfect for it. Thanks for the great video and take care!!!

The prybar you made is GREAT! I was going to make one that is heavier but kinda like how light that is. Another back saver is the magnet pickup tool from harbor frieght, you squeeze the handle and it releases whatever you picked up. As far as the nails are concerned, dig a hole 2 or 3 feet deep and drop them in there. Do it on a grid and in holes that you know you could bury some money in a sealed metal box the same size weight as the bucket of nails in the other holes. Not 100% but someone, even with a metal detector will most likely dig up a bunch of nails before the hit the silver.

Awesome Time saver of a tool ... More quicker.. more better !!!! ... I usually get my pallets like that from the industrial park .... I hope you got steel shank shoes or some puncture resistant insoles or inserts .. sometimes when you get busy if ya ain't payin' attention you can step square on them nails !

Really handy! Always love when you upcycle what would have otherwise been trash/scrap.

You could make lots of shelves 2'X4' around the outside walls of your shop floor to ceiling. Mine are about 26" for the bottom shelf so I can put a tote underneath. The rest of the shelves are about 14" so a gallon jug will fit. I have nothing on nails on the wall because it is a waste of space. I have 1'X4' Shelves above my work benches.

Thankfully my grandad left me a board-stretcher when he died. I just get a few bundles of those 1" x 2" x 2' wood steaks and depending on how much time I have and how bad I need them, I get some nice 4 x 6 10' long beams out of them.

You don't know how valuable lumber is until you cant get it. Turning standing trees into lumber isn't cheap or easy to do for most people. Good find on the wood and awesome pallet tool! 👍

I’ve tried pry bars but a neighbor suggested sawzall. Works really good. Great invention by the way
