Thanks for this! Tried to tune my Focus per your settings not realising I had bored the engine, changed cams, crank, weight reduction etc. 🤦🏻‍♂️ In case this helps anyone else, I managed to win this in the RE Amemiya FD3S RX7 after many, many attempts with other cars! RX7 Settings: Racing Medium tyres Stock Suspension 200kg Ballast 92% Power Restrictor Everything else left per the default car settings. My fastest lap - 1:31.397 2nd placed car - Huracan LP 610-4 2015 (+1.925 seconds) 3rd placed car - Gallardo LP 560-4 2008 (+3.137 seconds) My closest other attempts were in a heavily restricted R34 GTR (RH tyres) and bone stock Cayman GT4 (SH tyres). Hi Mitchell I was able to get the win using the Ford Focus RS ‘18 at the second time of asking. Your setup is amazing for this World Touring Car 600 event. Keep up the good work buddy, thank you!

I put the reccomended mods on the car and I was over the PP by .61 fiddled about with the tuning for a bit and done the race multiple times and came 2nd each time

Yup - PD change the PP of the cars from time to time. If you are getting second regularly, I would save and watch your replay to see where you can find a little more speed and then it is practice, practice, practice. Also, if you find that it is one driver that you cannot catch, restart the game / challenge and you'll find that the driver order changes. Sometimes I have found that I cannot beat one driver, restart and I get a mix that I can beat.

After several tries with different cars, I was finally able to barely beat it with a gr4 Huracan with nitrous. Tuned it for handling and down on power, then used the nitrous on the long straight, and using the full width of the curbs lol. Hope this helps someone.

Great guide Mitchell. Looks like a pretty hard race. I haven't tried it yet. I'm still trying to decide if I like the new physics or not.

Finally got it! Still used the Focus RS, but a slightly different tune. Racing hards, fully cust suspension, strong anti-lag, racing intercooler, air filter, muffler & exhaust, slotted brakes, racing pads and ECU set to 89. Also TCS on 0. The racing hards still grip well and the extra hp helps in the long straight. Racing brakes helps hold top speed a little longer and brake later coming into the chicane towards the end. Was able to win first try by 8.7 sec.

Awesome tune, I used RH to up the Power just a bit, but tried a lot of cars before this and hands down best choice

I found this one pretty hard for some reason, tried about 6 totally different cars but still finished 6-8 secs behind leader. I managed to get a sweet spot with a R34 GTR.. i do seem to be struggling with new physics.

I could get second pretty easily with the GT-R but never first. I’m not really noticing any difference with the new physics.

You are not kidding. There are one or two that I have found harder, but this one is right up there.

For some reason the top car in my race is a GT-R, much more manageable to beat, but requires some luck, funnily enough, the Lamborghini is now dead last and spins out at the first chicane. The end of the race works roughly the same, but the GT-R isn’t blazing fast like that Lambo, and if the RX-7 manages to get past to 2nd place it will fight the GT-R for the first spot in the race, making it even easier to win.

There have been a lot of changes in the recent updates and the lambo seems to be becoming a go to car. It is event the Meta car in the Daily Race B this week.

this one made scratch my head for like an hour. i first tried my 4 rotor fd rx7 but it didn't work. had to fight the wheelspin and oversteer(it really didn't like the sports hard tires after the update). next, i tried the r92cp swapped r34 gtr. even though it made up a lot of time in the corners, the straight line deficiete was too big compared to the lambo. then, out of the blue, i found my maxed out k24 swapped ek9 civic touring car on racing mediums was below 600pp and it worked. took the lead on lap 4 and never looked back

Nice work. A little bit banzai at the end there, but hey - job done! How are you finding the new physics? It looks like you haven't really adjusted the way you drive or attack the track at all?

Yeah I really had to go for every move in this one. The AI was always caught at the corners and those cars brake weirdly, even parking on the apexes most times. I’m not really seeing much difference with the new fixed. If anything, slightly easier to drive. Although I had to reconfigure my wheel because the FFB was to much.

@@playstationracer67-GT7 I think for me, the new physics seem to suit my style more. I did ask the question on the PSR Discord about G Pro set up changes after the new update. I'd be interested to see your in-game and wheel settings to compare to my own (in your own time of course).

I lowered my in game FFB settings (both) from 6 to 4 (I think) but I would need to check. Hit me up in Discord via a private message to remind me to let you know my current settings. I'm away from my console today, and I might forget with everything that is going on her with my mum at the moment.

So I tried your build, couldn’t get it match the pp you had, prior to that I’d come 3rd with a 2jz swapped new Supra, and I got fed up with a lack of results and went back to old faithful, the Cappuccino with the 13b swap (FDRX7 engine) with maxed everything, racing softs etc, be careful if you choose this because I won the race no worries but I did roll it twice on the curbs, you’ve been warned.
