I'm so glad that you talk about high accuracy being important so early into this series. Every time I see someone unironically saying "combo based game lol" I just want to smash my head into the next wall...
@clamati14366 жыл бұрын
Saya77 this is actually a combo game, as you need combo to get points, accuracy is something that you use to compare a score if you have the same combo, they are both important, like I don't say that accuracy doesn't matter, but if you just check a score, combo is actually more important A combo game doesn't mean you only need combo
@SayaKirasaka6 жыл бұрын
I can't really agree to that fully because there are still situations where the lower combo with higher acc is more impressive. Especially on certain maps which are hard to acc. And what I said about the combo based game I meant in terms of that these ppl dont care one bit about acc, although its an important factor in a RHYTHM game.
@clamati14366 жыл бұрын
Saya77 I personally never said that acc doesn't matter but the thing is if you want points you need combo first. I would never said to someone that combo > accuracy but in terms of points, combo > accuracy

I watched this video about 7 months ago for the first time. And I improved rapidly by applying the rules/tips you mention in the video. In the last 3-4 months, though, I started to limit myself to AR9+ on 4-5star maps. I eventually realized that I have a very similar thing going on, as you mentioned in connection with DT. Everything that is below AR9 seems extremely difficult, compared to when I was playing a wider variety of AR's. On top of that, my performance at AR9+ is also not really great. Essentially I struggle to slow down and be patient enough. I am glad that your video exists because I remembered and now rewatched it to get reminded about the importance of patience and accuracy. Now I play on a slightly lower difficulty and expose myself to more AR's, and I can already feel how I start to be more patient and accurate. Thanks for the video.

Watching this cuz I spent half of my 500 hours playing tech maps and maps +1.5* out of my comfort zone. Now I'm better than anyone else at my skill range (except the dude who mapped aleph 0,he's a beast) at sight-reading any map(especially tech) but can't FC cross screen jumps after a lot of retries like other players at my rank. I Started playing like a normal person a few weeks ago and I'm noticing massive improvement compared to when I was trying too hard. Even though I mostly played 0.5-1* out of my comfort zone and trying to FC 5* maps my whole skillset improved from deathstreaming(I practised long stream maps a lot tho) to spaced low BPM streams and very fast,close range jumps that require alternating. My personal tip: if you push yourself too hard,like I did, just to pass uta/highscore/tbb ,or whatever, you'll improve a lot slower later on, but if you just farm pp on easy maps you'll hit a skill wall you can't overcome because of your habits and way of playing.Just play the game in all its beauty and play all kinds of maps to have a balanced skillset. Always remember: a balanced diet is a healthy diet.
@РођакНенад6 жыл бұрын

One thing that people seem to not realise about "play more" is that it doesn't mean increase the amount of hours or days you play. Play more means continue playing If your friend says "I ate but i'm still hungry", and you say "eat more", it doesn't mean eat longer periods of time a day, it literally just means continue eating. So when someone says play more to you they mean that in order to improve you need to continue what you're doing and playing more maps, because there's no such thing as instant improvement. You have to play more in order to improve

Lemme add. After playing a lot of different maps, try going back to those you played but had bad accuracy on, and improve it. i'm a hardrock only player from 180k, now 135k just hit 2k pp today, if you're getting bored of hr play some dt, free pp, or just keep practicing hr and perfect your aim for crazy pp, accuracy doesn't matter as much until you start getting into higher maps than 4.5 as 4.5 will be easy to get better acc on once you get really used to it edit: if you really wanna get better at acc, always try to focus on listening to the beat, but most importantly applying what you hear to your fingers and actually tapping it instead of tapping what you see on the screen, might not seem different at the start but keep trying it, it'll get better as you P L A Y M O R E

@resoaa6 жыл бұрын
i think it'd be good for you if you try and play both kind of aspects separately; for a few hours you try to get good scores on 6* maps (probably the best way to do this is to just try every 6* map at least once, maybe twice, in order to get consistency on them) and the next day you try to fc more 5* maps. It all comes down to what you want to play though, maybe you end up playing 6*+ for a whole week, same applies vice versa of course.
