It helps to have a greater drive in life. Something more than what you're doing. Something that underlines everything you do. When you're extremely passionate about one thing, that passion can help you achieve in other ways too. Finding that passion is about setting goals... knowing what you really want out of life.
I've noticed this through Quake; when I have everything sorted and I'm pushing forward with something I really want in life, my playing will get to the next level. Conversely if I lose my drive then I start to play really badly too.
And if I repeatedly get to that level of feeling inspired, it will become part of who I am... climate rather than weather, my nature rather than my mood. So as always, you have to train yourself through repetition to get to where you want to be.
No doubt you've heard this before, but it's good advice: Never give up. Always forward.
Good luck!
Note: For those that don't really want anything in life... that's a whole other issue, I'll try to get to that another time.

From my own experience: goals can also be achieved by changing some habits. I used to watch a lot of Overwatch streamers and videos; from Kephrii's to Seagull's to Taimou's. Now, the thing is that I'm actually a support main and I had a 48% win rate with my main hero. So what I did was that even though I really liked watching all those offensive players play sniper or dive rolls, I stopped myself from doing that and instead focused on watching Ana VODs from high-rank players like GaleAdelade. I am now standing at a 55% win rate on Ana. I was playing way too aggressive as her because I only watched DPS streamers play.

This is great advice for anyone going through a slump - creative, occupational, mental, physical, or anything otherwise. Great video, love these kinds of things, especially when they're written and delivered so eloquently. Though sometimes I do wish you'd go into more detail, slow it down a bit, and relate something from your own life experience or an anecdote, rather than just an analogy.

On an unrelated note - can you make a video about proper position while gaming? Placing you arms, height of the desk and so on. I'm asking because I aim only with my wrist (so I play on high sensitivity) due to my desk being high and I feel it can take a toll on my wrist health.

excuse me i was a moba player. now i play fps games it is like 3 months but i didnt play alot. i had a mouse as big as g502 and i had so much problems aiming. so now im considering to buy g303 or g302 or deathadder chroma or maybe original one. so which one you advise me to get. my hand is 19 cm and about 9 width. it sounds weird but im not sure if i use palm or claw and i dont know which is better for me since i dont have mice to try the grip styles to it. so what do you think ?

I wanna buy the g403: u said u would get the wired version for competitive play, but i want the wireless version for freedom when i dont play games so if i get the wireless one but do it wired with the charging cable, is it exactly the same as the wired version then? if u dont understand what im saying coz of my poor english skills, say it and i will try again :D love your channel, would love to get an answer :)

I have an idea for a video. I'm a competitive Overwatch player and hit a slump. I was at 2767 SR now I'm at 2290 SR. Just like you said in video I'm just trying to fix my wheater a win, but my team refuse to work together so even if I do well in that game, its nearly impossible to win. Any advice on getting out of a slump (ending a losing streak or whatever) would be appreciated. Love your videos dude!

Hi Zy, i am a csgo player, and i've wanted to ask you a thing that bugs me alot, i dont understand why i am better with the rival 100 than the deathadder, i can claw grip both of them very well, i just can't control my spray with the deathadder like i can with the rival 100. Both mice seems fine to me, i mean the shape and the size, but idk why rival 100 feels better to me, but still deathadder has a better sensor, has this ever happened to you?
