I’m still using silicones in my hair. I never got on that bandwagon. I also use oils because they help my hair retain moisture. What’s interesting is that shampooing my hair every week instead of every 2 weeks really helped my dryness get under control.
@roki53372 жыл бұрын
Silicones have helped my hair personally. I use proper shampoo to wash my hair and yes indeed cowashing is not cleaning your hair.

First, yes to the new background and editing skills!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I love serums!! The components are small enough to fit into the cuticle. My hair is super fine so I don’t need heavy oils. I’m doing wash n gos now, (set with hooded dryer). My hair has already made a comeback from the weekly blowdrying. 😅healthy diet is what I need to work on. Your wisdom is greatly appreciated in a space where there is so much misinformation. You’re a gem Linwood! I pray God is restoring you and healing you. K love you bye!

Thank you so much for including all fabrics of hair. I have very straight, fine hair and after watching your videos for several months, I went from a ridiculous frizz ball of dry, dull heat stressed mess to shiny health. No longer at my wits end using extreme hold gel for my halo of fly aways and split ends. It's amazing what healthy hair can do for your self-confidence. We really appreciate the knowledge and time you put into your videos. Thank you!

But yes I have found a spot here that I’m choosing now pursuing new clients that don’t mind listening to my knowledge, which btw I am also getting pumped with your full education . Got in to became an instructor but I quit😂3 times saying That I can’t lie to students on what this book says . If you’re losing hair and you haven’t seen a doctor recently. It’s not a bad idea to be checked out for conditions anemia. For a year a half I kept losing tons of hair, even though I was eating a balanced diet. at first I was assuming that my braids were too tight but even my hair wasn’t braided I was constantly shedding tons of hair. I used to have really thick hair and it became noticeably thinner. Turns out I had anaemia and since getting treated I stopped losing all that hair and its looking a lot healthier.

Thank you so much for consistently sharing ways to maintain the integrity of beautiful, healthy hair. I will gladly listen to ANY suggestions you have for mixed race hair because my hair is totally disobedient! People offer to do my hair because my waves and curls are "so beautiful"... until they wash it. My tamed curls revert back to giant wild anaconda curls that twist, entrap and break combs & brushes. Most have no idea how hard it is to tame my mane. I'm literally 1 wash & blow dry away from looking like the lion king! Thank God I'm not tender headed. 🙏 I'm in my 50s, barely have any gray hair, and am determined to keep my hair healthy, hydrated, and beautiful like my 80+ year old mother. We have COMPLETELY different hair color (I was born with red hair, hers is jet black) and types (hers is straight Native American, mine is Medusa).. but the vitality of her hair is still amazing!! So continue to teach this grandma ways to keep her hair looking good & healthy! Praying for you! Many blessings. Rev

How shiny someone’s hair is isn’t always related to whether it’s dry or healthy. It can be related to hair color. I think this should have been mentioned so that people don’t necessarily think they are doing something “wrong”. My natural hair color is a reddish brown. Some of my relatives are sandy brown. Our hair doesn’t naturally reflect light as well as someone with darker hair. It’s not uncommon in my family for people to dye their hair black. Some have even gone to salons to get a clear gloss put on their hair. I don’t use silicones because my hair hates them. I am not big on oils unless it’s before a shampoo because most of them weigh my hair down too much or make my hair brittle. Usually I only use leave in and gel. I have only found one oil that my hair will tolerate being left in my hair.
