I got hired back in June. And funny enough, Randy was my interviewer.

All the flight instructors I know just got picked up by these guys. I'm too old apparently but good luck to them!!

Shame. May I ask how old you are? I thought/assumed it is more about hour requirements, skills etc rather than age..

To get hired at skywest all you have to do is apply and show up to the interview. It's never been so easy to find work in aviation.

Do you work for Skywest? I had quite an extensive interview with them. It wasn't easy.

@@kiddi3smalls Exactly, how much money did you spend to get a job with an Airline making $1600? A truck driver makes more than $1600 a week.

Hopefully that guy doesn't act that nervous when he flys the plane and keeps you from dying.
@thatdudekyan3 жыл бұрын
Don't be so dumb. He's a captain, he's been flying for 5 years on the CRJ. He's not going to get "nervous", he's gone through multiple evaluations, tests, health checks, etc to be fit to fly.

it's a very different skillset talking smoothly, impromptu, to an interviewer amid a trade show versus flying a plane and making decisions in the cockpit.
