It turned out that way because you didn't apply a lot the dye. And to get the most color out of it you just let it sit for at least an hour and then blow dry it with a hair dryer for a little bit then rinse it out with cold water for it to be more vibrant.

I used manic panic one time and it did not stay in the first time I was rinsed it out I was left with silver blue hair.. it was not a good color since then I stuck with N rage.. I dyed my hair purple plum recently... before I dyed it this color.. I dyed it the cobalt blue and it stayed in forever I bleached it three times and it was still there.. I highly recommend N rage if you want a long lasting hair color

I love it! This past weekend I went out and bought Purple Haze and Blue Steel Manic Panic, just so I could get this sourt of look and yesterday I got my hair cut to my collar bones, slightly a-symmetrical to work with my natural curl and then today I searched "how to" videos and came across yours - IT'S A SIGN!! lol... The only thing I'm not sure of, is that I want that kind of ombre look like you have and I'm wondering how you did it?

Omg how crazy!! So glad you watched :) I have naturally dark hair (and don't like doing my roots that often haha) so my hair was kind of a dirty blonde at the top progressing into a pale yellow blonde towards the end. It's not that much of an ombre though (more of a balayage) - so I had some highlights in there to break it all up (so the transition from light to dark doesn't look so harsh). Hope that helps!!

+Michelle Yang The Manic Panic blue steel is more of a silver/steel color than anything else so I'd definitely get another blue color to mix with it!

Hey!! I love your videos! :) I have a question about manic panic dyes, I really want a pastel purple or pink in my hair ends but I would like it to fade eventually, my hair is the same kinda colour as yours in the beginning is. :) So do these really wash out after a while? I'm not brave enough to go for a permanent colour. :)) Emese xx

+Emese Baktai Thanks so much! In my experience, Manic Panic fades pretty quickly after a few washes, but there's always a tint of the color left behind. My hair is pretty blonde at the moment, but when the color fades, I can always see a hint of the color left. I usually need to bleach it out or use Vitamin C tablets to remove the color completely. It comes out pretty easily, though!

I don't know if I'm answering your question, but I have really light natural blonde hair, a bit lighter than hers in the beginning and I used ion color brilliance and it lasted almost a year in my hair without needing touch ups. If you want one for just a few days or a week I would say go for splat hair dye

Look up Loreal colorista washout dyes! They wash out in 1-2 shampoos (and will actually come all the way out)

The lighter your hair is, the more pastel/vibrant the color will be! So if you have darker hair, it might turn into more of a plum color or not show up very well :(

😭OMG !!! AMethyst ashes isnt a great color if you have super dark hair and dont know how to bleach properly! I tried to dye my hair at home USING THE SAME PRODUCTS and the result was such a disaster. SO HILARIOUS TBH XD I even vlogged the whole process of me being a dumb b*tch if any of you wanna watch it lol 😂 yours turned out quite cute tho
