How fast can you retouch or recoat your project without messing up the finish if you are looking for a more smooth finish with Debi's DIY paints?

To get a smooth finish I always buff with 220 sand paper and I usually only wait about 20-30 minutes between coats. Just until it’s dry.

So when Zeb was hanging the shelf, I thought Debbie's wall had dirt smears all over it, until I ran my finger over my screen and realized it was cheese from my 2 year old daughter's grubby fingers. 😒 But, the shelf is beautiful! And her wall was very clean after I wiped my cell screen.

Can you use Dark and Decrepit on already painted pieces? Or Veneer? And did I hear right that you don't have to seal it afterwords?

It has built in sealer. If you did multiple coats you would not need additional sealer unless it’s a high use piece like a dining table. And yes you can use it on already finished pieces but it won’t look like stained wood. Be sure to lightly sand any painted or veneer pieces before you use dark and decrepit
