I would love to see a video of how you come up with the pricing of your projects and how much they actually sell for. I'm refurbishing a lot of pieces but I am a newbie at this so sometimes it's hard to have an idea of what things actually sell for as well as what you need to do to sell a piece at a higher price.

It’s really regional for pricing. Pricing can be tricky. I suggest searching Facebook marketplace for similar items you want to sell.

I love this chair colour and the material cover. I laughed at Zeb saying you preferred the air gun stapler Jamie. I also use a hand stapler and find it’s very hard on wrists as well. I might pinch my husbands air gun too, the table is lovely too

Great video! I love to mix and match things. I married a bookshelf with drawers from an old wooden bunk bed set with a butcher block table top and made a kitchen island. Base is white and top is stained brown. One of my favorite pieces.

Omg, I have to tell you my epic fail! I planned on reupholstering 2 "Hotel quality" chairs (I guess that's a given that they are really sturdy?) The wood was SO hard! I thought I was going to knock both chairs out in 2 days...(with my manual staple gun) not even 1/2 way through the 1st chair I wound up in the E.R. with tendinitis!!! The chairs wound up taking 3 weeks because I had to rest my hand!!!

I have a bit of a range. But Plain chairs without arms and no upholstery: $35-45 Chairs with upholstered seats no arms: $55-65 Chairs with upholstered seats and backs $95-115 Chairs with upholstered seats, backs and arms $125-185 depending on the style and age of the chair.

We left it functional in case someone buys it and wants the extra leafs. If I were going to get rid of the seam I would screw the two sides closed and then bondo the gap.

Loved this! I must be over fluffing my chairs I add foam, cotton and 2 layers of wool, then the fabric and my staples were still so long that they came through even with 3/8” staples, how long were the staples that you used?

Crystal they are half inch. But this wood was pretty thick. Maybe it’s not the foam but the wood is to thin. I have had that happen to me too. Zeb has cut me no wood or I have had to add even more batting. It’s always so frustrating. Sorry friend.

Are there leaves that go with the table? If you are turning it into a "console" table, then should the seam in the table been removed? Or, if someone buys it, you going to give them the leaves too?

We’re going to give them the leaves. We left it functional if someone wants to use it as an extension table, we do have the leaves. Those tables don’t sell will in our area though so we’re gonna try to sell it as a desk/console table and see what happens. 👍

I suppose you could tape everything off, but the seat of this chair is attached with 4 screws and was much easier to just remove it and then paint.

I do have an air compressor. How do I know if it will work for these tools. I know you said they have to be at least 8 gallon. Mine is about 4 foot tall. I want to get a staple gun for it. With my arthritis in my hands I have so strength to pull the hand staple gun any longer. Where do I start to find out what I actually have here and what staple gun to buy and also would like a sprayer for it.

It sounds large enough to handle a staple gun and a sprayer. The staple gun for sure. I can run that with a tiny little pot compressor.

This is the gun we use. amzn.to/2Cw6v8T Somewhere on your compressor it should have a label that tells you how much SCFM @ 90 psi it will generate. Or something similar to that.

We put on two coats on this. 👍 It probably would have been ok with one, the big Top is good stuff. Zeb always does 3-4 coats on kitchen table tops. Did the second coat not make the editing cut? I thought we mentioned it. It may have been cut lol. It ended up being a long video.

It is originally a long extendable table with 4 extra leaves. The legs in the middle support the extra weight if all the leaves are in.

Hi this is Zeb. I do all the video editing. I usually put the music underneath to hide the freeway noises we’re very close to the freeway) and sounds of the house. Is it the volume of the music or just the music selection? Or is it the presence of music in general? Just trying to pin point what you don’t like about it. 👍 I edit with headphones on so my volumes may be different than yours in post production.
