I can't thank you enough for this video! I have straight, fine hair and it's so hard to get any volume no matter how much teasing I've done and make it last! It also has a tendency to look "ratty". After following the instructions you gave on your video, it takes me less than half the time to get the volume I need and it lasts all day! Thank you so much!

omg, the ONLY video that helped me keep my hair teased all day! i have heavy hair and it will fall out in less than an hour! did this one day for school and my hair was just as full at the end of the day as it was in the morning!

Thank you! I have a very small slender face and a long gangly body, so I like to tease the hair on the sides of my head to make it a bit bigger, and to make myself look a bit more proportionate :P It never stays though, and my hair is always flat! So thank you, because this looks amazing :)

@BiancaO8Boo If it is sizzling then there might be too much hairspray. You don't want it to feel wet anymore when you go over it. Sometime it can still sizzle a little and vapour comes up - that can just be the product if there are a lot of sugars in it. As long as you don't over do it with the flat iron, you are fine!

My hair is similar to yours, except mine is a tiny bit shorter and has more layering. The way the layering is, I like to have my hair looking like your end result and its hard to get it to stay. I ususally use Aussie instant freeze hair spray which I love and that helps it to stay but not all day. It will go flat the more I play with it to try to poof it up again. Eager to try this trick out and see if its going to work with my hair. Thanks for the video. :-) happy 4th of july.

@smiley5163 It shouldn't damage your hair if you are using a good quality flat iron. B/c you are doing it so far up your hair shaft, its all new hair, which is naturally more healthy. Just make sure you don't go over board!

Have you noticed any damage from using heat and teasing on your hair frequently, I desperately need to tease it daily but I fear I will begin to see lots of frizz and breakage from teasing and flat ironing.

+Whitney Feltrop As long as you don't go over each piece a lot of times, it should be ok. I never found any damage was done to my hair by doing it, but I also would not re-do it every day.
