I find that subscribers from shorts are more likely to unsubscribe and because shorts are less profitable maybe that's a good thing because I am finding the majority of those who subscribe through a long form video are going to continue watching your videos and stay subscribed, so they are more likely to be loyal supporters. you can make both if you want and if you happen to qualify through shorts that's amazing! But for all of the reasons listed in the beginning, I would encourage you to go the long-form route
