😂😂😂 I noticed it right it at the beginning, but it's all right. Valuable input Damian. I actually wrote my master thesis on: "How to get your music on spotify playlists" for my masters in music managment. I think the key for me to get my song on playlists was to develop relationships with these curators and playlisters. Getting to know them. I call it "Effective Communication" through emailing. I think it's important for artist to research the right playlist and come up with an excellent email. I can go on about this, but you can see for yourself on my spotify for artist. Finally do it the right way and DIY. open.spotify.com/artist/3voFDI6eBJt7uGs6c91sws?si=y39c_MkdRlG7mw5E2OD8iw

Best tip: the first 30 seconds. Get some common sense, people! In all seriousness though, this was yet another really helpful video. Especially liked how you went into different artist profiles to drive the examples home, and some of your tips toward the end are top notch -- being realistic, thinking of the singles as building blocks, etc. Great stuff! I released my first single on Spotify this month, got Spotify for Artists, and then got my first playlist add (a venue I'm playing at next week does a "Coming soon to our stage" playlist)....so your advice thus far this year has been super timely. Much appreciated, Damien -- looking forward to the next!

I've tried paid for play before via Playlist push AND Goolge ADs and it works for a while and then you relapse back to your mean and you don't gain any true long term followers. I also realized it's quite easy to tell who's organic and not by cross checking your platform follower count to Pandora, KZbin, Apple etc. They should be "somewhat" in line. I would think Curators realize this and also cross check since it's quite easy. A video like this on Pandora and Apple would be great too! Thank you Damian!
