I literally just got scared and almost not continued with renting my own place and then you showed up with this video lol. For people I have to say this; no matter how many difficult things I have done in my life (27f) and I have done so many, from moving to multiple countries, having many different challenging jobs, being rejected, things not working out and starting over, marrying someone and after 9 years of mostly beautiful memories divorcing because we grew apart... Volunteering and living with strangers, having very little or no money. So much trauma in my childhood and having to heal and forgive so many people (like give me a break). I'm an introvert and no matter how many things I have done IT IS SCARY every single time.... Every time. But I keep going. The fear never goes away, you just learn to accept it. Even now when I'm on the verge of my new chapter of living alone for the first time I'm terrified. I'd rather do any of the things I listed above all over again because that is that; I have already did them and know what's gonna happen and how to overcome them. New things... Different story. But still, the faith in my heart is so much stronger than fear and I wish you all the same in your life. I believe you.

Hey tam, my comments may go unnoticed, but I know that being noticed is not the purpose of my opinion. I see so many young, strong brained girls coming here and telling you how you are literally raising them and how far they’ve come. With each comment, my faith in humanity gets restored bit by bit. You are so loved, appreciated and so wise. For a while, I wanted to become exactly like you, but after watching dozens of your videos, I know that rather than wanting to become like you, I should aspire to become the highest version of ME. That’s what you preach and practice, right? You love authenticity, and so do I. I’m so proud of all the women coming here and trying to better their lives. Your videos help a lot more than you can imagine. Recently, I got applauded for my good presentation skills at college, by multiple teachers, and when I told this to my mom, she dismissed the whole thing and made it about herself. She was not at all appreciative and told me that it does not matter, and that there are other heights I need to conquer. I was very sad for a while, but then I thought to myself, what if tam was here? She would applaud for me, she would appreciate me and be proud of me. She would clap for me, and just that, just the thought of you staring at me in awe and confidence increased my self esteem so much. I understood that if I can be a person who can be proud of my friend who performs well, then are more like me. Anyways, my point being, you are a wonderful human being whose efforts aren’t going unnoticed. I wish you good luck and good health. ❤

from a 23 year old to the teenagers here: its lowkey scary seeing how many teenagers (not even 20 yet wow) feel awful about themselves for not being independent yet, social media has hugely fd up those born after 2006. Y'all are good enough okay, it's all a journey, plus you're the generation living in the hyper inflated cost of living across the world so try not to compare to older people just try to learn the principles they speak about. If you REALLY want to go for all this independent stuff at such a young age then make sure you're talking to real people in your own life about it BECAUSE that amount of pressure you put on yourself in your own head is not natural for your brain aka you're pre-frontal cortex doesn't fully develop until your early twenties SO make sure you're not going at big goals alone, talk to people regularly about it in person (not online) for support

I am literally 17 years old And there is a lot of pressure on me to be self independent by myself , even my family members pay my tuition fees where I don't feel like it, I don't do many things because when I become self independent I will do them by myself. But I never went out of my comfort zone. But in the future I will try something to earn money online. thank you tam sis you are like my elder sister Maybe in 6 months i will be self independent girl ❤

Before she asked she was really scared and this was definetely a point of doing that.

I’ve just invested the last of my savings into a mentorship to help start my own business. I’m so scared because this has definitely brought me to a very uncomfortable place, but I know I can’t do a 9-5 forever and I want financial freedom by my early 30s. I’m learning to believe in myself, unlearning what I was taught about money growing up and learning new skills to get me to my goal. I’ve gone back to my part time job in retail to help pay for the course and keep me a float. Praying To never give up, I believe in myself and money will always be in my pocket. The universe has my back 🙌🏼 I would love to come back to this video I hope in 6-9 months time in a totally different and happier place and by business has gotten my my 4-5 figure monthly goal. 2024-2025 is gonna kick my ass.
