All that and gopro looks like 640 x 480 from 25 years ago. Try pausing and zooming in just a little. Washed out and blurry. Like looking through a muddy windshield. I just bought a hero 10. Tried all these settings and my experience is the same. Terrible video just like all these channels. The only halfway decent videos are on the gopro channel and they are highly edited and probably partially AI boosted or even CGI.

Lower FPS also means you can use a lower ISO which means higher quality images, with 60 FPS it’s taking twice as many images so it only captures light for half as much time meaning it needs a higher iso / shutter speed
@MangoMan-rc8nf9 ай бұрын
pls tell me what settings for recording at 60 fps

Well, I've created my first video on KZbin following your setting and the result in my opinion is pretty good (at least for the first video ever). Although I found another creator who suggested not to put EV compression to -0.5, because it's not changing much and in a dark areas with decreased max iso might be too dark. So I recorded another footage and will publish it in a couple of days and I think it's a little better. Overall thank you for your suggestions, I wish you best of luck and take care :)

Solid advice!! I really like your choices on framerate and canvas size. A couple notes from a video nerd... The key with bitrate is figuring out where youtube limits bitrate for each video resolution, which changes often. You'll want to hit the sweet spot on each upload, fast moving detail is the first thing to be lost when the bitrate cap gets hit. Also note that upscaling to a higher resolution is not really necessary, might as well export at gopro resolution, letting the viewers device scale it to their native resolution on the fly because it will look the same.

Hey Jeff thanks for the dirt bike the cam settings, I just got a new Hero 11 to replace a 14 year old beat up DRIFT Ghost helmet cam that was mounted on the side of my old KLIM helmet. Using the Media Mods lighting mount slot ,I mounted the cam up and under the visor on my new AlpineStars MX helmet. @ 82 years old I ride deserts on a KTM 200 hanging in there with 450's and my last U-Tube video was super smooth compared to the DRIFT cam. Now I will mount the DRIFT cam backwards for rear "pass'em" shots. The reason I mounted the GoPro under the visor is to protect it from getting ripped off from branches when on the gas dicing through the deserts brush or crashing...face plants are another vid cam story...~Go faster than the crash~

1440 is the best for instagram posts. Resolution choice effects the shape of the video. 1440 is more square shape. there's two different 2.7k options. I don't know if gopro only has one or both, I think gopro only has one option 2.7k mode. One is more square and the other is more cinematic short but wide. Idk what gorpro uses. I think it's the cinematic wide though.
