my hair parted down the middle and so i would always wet it and comb it down the side before i went to sleep everyday. after like a month it finally naturally started parting that way. 2 years later middle parts became a trend :|

I was skeptical but this finally helped tame the hair around my crown/swirl which I have struggled with forever, THANK YOU! I don't use a blow dryer as I use straighteners so don't want to attack my hair twice with heat but combing my hair in all different directions whilst it air dries works well. Sometimes I can even go without hair spray or anything to hold it in place in that area.

I have the same issue. Its very stubborn. I cant put my hair up in a pony tail because my part stays where it is. My hair is like breast length, used to be a little longer. I think I need to try and cut it shorter and see if i can change the part then. Its very thin too. Cutting it shorter will definitely help with that. I just read on wiki how that you should use a comb if you have a certain type of hair like mine. Or a wide bristle brush for another. I googled how to train your part. The images are of a younger blonde girl but theres multiple different types of hair and how to manage it or move your part. It was very helpful. It also said towel drying is very bad for hair

For those that want a permanent solution, this is it: use conditioner, and use it daily. You don't need to wash hair with shampoo every day, but you want to nurture it with conditioner to moisturize it and soften it. Once your hair gets soft enough as you do this for a little while say a week or so, it tends to take whatever shape you want it to after you apply certain matte finish paste or clay.

@@ionsmoke024 Every three/third day is fine. So if you wash it on Monday, then you will want to wash it again on Thursday. Btw, try not to use any shampoo branded as specifically 'for men'. They tend to over cleanse your hair grease away, which causes it to secrete even more grease and breaks the balance. Often times men's hair are over greasy and dry, mostly due to washing their hair too much with dishwashing like shampoo. Right? My hair is stubborn af! Its been in the middle, for the most part, for as long as i can remember. I dont really blow dry it but towel dry. Just seen how bad it is to towel dry it. I also have a cowlick on the front side of where my hair starts like above my forehead and one right behind it towards the back of my head. These cause the left side of my hair to look like it has a little volume and the other side to be flatter to my head. My hair on the sides grows somewhat forward towards my face when I'd like it to go backwards so i dont get bald spots when pulling my hair back. I cannot put it up in a ponytail because my part will NOT move at all. Even when wet or blow-dried. Idk what else to do. Its thin too. Been thinking about shaving it and starting over but I dont have strong enough eyebrows and feel like i would like funny. So Im thinking maybe cut it short which i am not used to. Any tips that could help him without using heat? I’m assuming following exactly like what the video said, except allowing his hair to air dry instead? I told my son that he’ll have to train it for a good while and be ritualistic with parting it differently everyday. He also puts hair products in it for “slip” and non-frizz. Thanks SalonGuy! 💋

I don't know if you still read comments from a year ago, but this is my first time seeing you. I was intrigued because I too have, not one, but two parts that tend to naturally part that way but it was due to a head injury that resulted in a multiple fracturing in my skull. It just so happens that it's at the crown of my head so whenever I wear my hair back, it will begin to split in about 2 or 3 different lines. I was even thinking about getting a mild hair transplant where that happens, that's how bad I feel about it. So I watched this and I'm going to try it and see what happens. I really hope that you read comments now and would look forward to your response. Thanks.
