something I do sometimes is put tea tree oil on a band-aid (not the really strong adhesive ones cause those can cause breakouts). and stick it where my acne is for a few hours before bed, and wash the area thoroughly after. Honey can help sooth the dryness too, but this also doesn't work for everyone. make sure to test what skin type you have so you don't end up damaging it and hurting yourself on accident!

Any tips for a deep cyst like pimple? I never get pimples like other people get. Just one or two really deep and painful ones every once a while that have no heads, can’t be popped, all I can do is just wait for a week or two for them to slowly start getting better 😔
@clarewhite30042 жыл бұрын
If it's seriously bothering you, see a dermatologist. Chronic cystic acne needs more than what you can do at home. If it's not seriously bothering you, then just keep up with the basics - good cleansing with thorough makeup removal, salicylic acid, niacinamide, sunscreen - and be patient when the cysts happen. I get them too sometimes and they can be super annoying, but luckily I don't have a severe case that needs medical attention.
@StoicVeR2 жыл бұрын
Have you tried getting off sugars and sweetened beverages, such as sports drinks, sodas, and especially energy drinks? Most processed sweeteners induce inflammation in tissue in the joints, in the stomach, and especially in the subdermal tissue of your face - this causes the breaks outs. When you have a cyst on (in?) your face, you can still perform the Dr.s treatment with benzyle peroxide. These infections are tricky to get under control, because essentially the tissue itself is infected, not a pore like with a pimple. So you have to get the area under control before they stop cropping up, and that can be frustrating. But if you haven't put aside sugar consumption, consider reducing the sweets in your diet for a while. You can still have sodas and things, but in moderation. Drink water, unsweetened beverages, and what your diet. It might take a week or more, like you said, it takes a while for them to calm down - i.e., your immune system to ward off the infection. I wish you luck, I know them bitches are far from fun

Buy a pimple patch with something like salicylic acid or sulphur. Zitsticka makes good patches. Just make sure to read the description and get the right kind for your pimple's life stage.
So I have this and my mom told me to put it around my mouth cause I found out like 3 days ago that around my mouth I have flaky skin I told her this is for acne not flaky dry skin so I read the warnings on the back of the packaging and it says " Do not use if you. Skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another tropical acne medication at the same time, skin irritation may occur characterized by redness burning itching peeling or possibly swelling So idk if I should use it or not. Ut I might not so I'll just tell my mom that it was stinging so bad I took it off and after I read the warnings and tell her not to use it
