Same here, but I’m a woman. My mother scarred my skin by squeezing and picking at my baby acne. 90% of the scars I have (ice-pick scars) have been with me my entire life. I remember burning my face with curling irons as a tween because I hated my scars so much. Other kids stared at me or asked me why it looked like I had needles in face. I’m in my 40s and they haven’t gotten any better really but I’ve learned to accept them more and more. Skin doesn’t define us, it’s just an organ that surrounds us to protect us from the outside. Our personality shines through and blurs our physical scars. They are what they are. No different than a birthmark.

I've tried microneedling a good 6 times with some sublative and it hasn't really worked for me. Now I have PDO threads in my face. My skin looks vibrant and thick but idk what to do about my scars. I guess I'll just use retinol religiously. I feel pretty even with my scars but sometimes I wonder about what I'd actually look loke without them.

I recommend going to a reputable dermatologist that is honest about results and knows what they're doing.

@Helen _ Patrick this is the type of bullshit that is making our society regress each day. There is no such thing as herbal medication. Ultimately it always comes down to chemical compounds and how they reach within the body. If there was some chemical compound in nature that could do this, it would have been used to make actual medicines. Stop spreading misinformation and some pseudo-science bullshit to profit off of others.

Treating acne scars may take awhile but once you've found the best products for u.. it'll cause u to have better skin for years to the point that even your acne is treated, not just the scars. My husband is dermastamping for years now. He was dermastamping with the Banisher 2.0 weekly before but as soon as his scars faded he just uses it once a month for maintenance. We always thought the process is way too long.. but now that his skin looks way better than mine? I must say it's worth the effort. Trust the process. this is something that has helped me SO MUCH. when you put on conditioner and let it sit in your hair, don’t let your hair touch your back, like move it to the front or hold it whatever works best. conditioner clogs your pores really bad and can cause bacne. i’ve seen such a difference by doing this.

In my case, I used the ordinary serum, and even tho it took a while it did help a lot and helped me get rid of it completely overtime. But when it comes to those little crevices, I was never able to get rid of it. My dermatologist told me that I would probably need a peeling treatment which I unfortunately can’t afford … Even tho my acne keeps coming back, I’m glad your tips worked, and considering that I’m about to start an accutane treatment, I’m very positive about the future. I’m really grateful for your tips, because it helped me better my skin and feel more confident when I hated myself.

To everyone struggling with pigment scarring: Please check whether you have PIH or PIE first!! Hyram only talks about PIH here, which is great for all you darker skinned beauties - but especially if you are lighter skinned, PLEASE learn more about post inflammatory erythema (PIE). For the longest time I thought I had PIH, because no one every really told me the difference (Hyram unfortunately does not seem to differentiate either here), but once I found out about it and learned more, I managed to actually get rid of the pink/ red dots that are typical for PIE (dark spots are typical for PIH). Because the treatments for PIH and PIE actually CAN be different (depending on your skin/ severity of the marks)! Here‘s a few videos for your consideration (that helped me personally): About the difference of PIH & PIE: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6eVfIKmYpx9mbs How to treat PIE: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWmammqBa5J6apI Go get the skin y‘all deserve♥️

I have PIE too and was waiting for Hyram to adress is in this video. May I ask what products helped you? I'm using azelaic as a topical treatment and retinol, bha, and niacinamide all over. It's changing but soooo slowly, I feel like it's going to take years...

pretty informative thank you 😍 but a very important distinction is this: those reddish or pink stains especially on lighter skin tones are not PIH, they are called as post inflammatory erythema aka PIE, its important to distinguish because AHA acids are not so good for red stains as they get more red.On the other hand AHA is great for PIH as they fade darker spot. so the color of the scars plays a big role in treating.

I got to stay with my best friend, her son and her friend graciously let us use his apartment and he migrated to a friends, but basically rent free I got to stay there and experience so much. Hana, excursions, paddle boarding, climb banyan trees but my favorite was star gazing. No picture or explanation can do it justice. Even the air smelled fresh just breathe taking. Your so blessed my friend. I know your probably extremely hardworking. Lol not just bc you live there but bc of your content. I’ve been studying astrology for about 9 years and my plan 9 years ago was to begin a KZbin channel and give readings and start my own business. I hate the way I look on camera and KZbins content is so saturated with everyone doing the same thing. So I decided against it! You did it Hyram! Your so brave.
