As a board certified dermatologist, i echo these recommendations! Well done! One thing I do recommend that didn’t make your list is Acnomel for spot treatment of adult inflammatory acne. It smells nasty so I spot treat at night. Thanks Hyram for another great video!!

For those angry red spots that start deep down in your skin, I highly recommend Lion Pair Cream. It reduces inflammation so if I catch a spot early it shrinks so much that it disappears before it surfaces. It can still leave a red mark but it will be significantly smaller and lighter than it would have been. It's genuinely a game changer for me.

Acne is such a pain, and when it comes to my body acne, it’s a whole different ball game. My face and my body don’t usually like the same treatments, so I usually have to be so careful cause my body does not like a lot of products. A couple things I recommend for body acne is the Kale-Lalu-yAHA! My face is a little sensitive to this product, but my body LOVES IT! I use it about every other day and it’s been a game changer! I also love the Nécessaire Body Retinol, which is a one and done kind of product, which is great for people like me who are lazy with the body treatments 😂

My favorite cleanser for acne is the AprilSkin Carrotene Clarifying Foaming Cleanser. I tried it as a sample thinking it’d just be another basic cleanser and I fell IN LOVE. I use it every day only at night and I’ve seen such a transformation in my skin. Can be a bit drying so if I get to that point I’ll use the CeraVe foaming cleanser for a bit. Overall highly recommend! Also their cleansing balm is great for removing makeup, and smells nice. ^.^

FYI tretinoin can be purchased over the counter in many pharmacies abroad. I have gotten it from Egypt, Morocco, and Spain - idk how much it costs with a prescription in the US but it was about $20 in Spain. Ofc if you get it this way patch test and gradually introduce it into your routine and wear sunscreen daily!

I had horrible back acne. Be Bodywise Salicylic acid bodywash worked really well for me. Not sure if it is available outside india but people, if you find it, I would recommend do try!

I really like the idea of how gentle every recommendation is… but adult hormonal acne won’t go away with mandelic acid and salicylic acid or beginner retinols. Speaking of years of experience in battle of BAD cycstic hormonal acne, the ONLY non-prescription things that really help are panoxyl and adapalene. (I then built up tolerance and incorporated a salicylic acid toner and an azalaic acid.)

I use Bioderma Kerato+ 1,8SA + 10% malic acid gel everyday it's not drying nor irritatingand get rid of CC's in few days. But start slow, it ruined my skin barriere first time, then tried again 6 months later when my skin was accomodated to everyday actives and boom magic

Hi hyram, and everyone else that can help. Can you give me a dupe for Elf's Happy Hydration Cream? I really loved that formula. And I know it sounds dramatic but I am incredibly upset 😭. I am neurodivergent so change upsets me greatly. Especially since It is the only moisturiser I have used, LOVED and did not break me out. I also really like the hemp as it's very soothing. Is there a close dupe that anyone knows of? I have tried the Centella iunik gel cream but it's a clear gel and I'm looking for a light weight cream. If anyone has any recommendations that would be great. I have sensitive, combination skin if that helps. TIA 🙂

Use to be a huge fan, but didn’t see a lot of your videos recently, but I’m a little disappointed in this list because it feels like I haven’t missed anything on this channel since 2021, and then the added endorsements of your own products throughout most of the video didn’t really help. Like I said I use to be a fan and wanted to check what amazing new products I missed this year but most of the products were release years ago which is kinda disappointing.
