This video addresses the problem of my first video on how to get rid of them completely. It will take up to three weeks, but its worth it!

I am SO going to use this. The back room where I work has been infested with those damn things for so long that people don't even notice them anymore. We've been using the vinegar in the cups but like you said, it didn't break the cycle. Those flies are doomed now. DOOMED!!!!

Thank you! Your advice is awesome! These flies have been driving me crazy, and this has shown me a great way to get rid of them! You've definitely picked up a new subscriber! Looking forward to your next video!

I have never heard of drain flies. Is it an issue for people with a sink garburator or any sink? How are they different from fruit flies?

I use to get these in my laundry room. I have a drain by my water heater. Once a month I will wash a load of clothes, take a gallon of water and dump it down the drain between the wash cycle and rinse cycle. As long as I do this once a month I don't have any issue.

I have had the red wine vinegar fly trap set up for a week and a half and only caught one stinking fly. They're everywhere now. Obviously, the fly trap isn't working. I'm gonna try to clean the shower drain, but they are also in the bedroom where there is only a half bath (sink and toilet). Where are they coming from?

any drain or any slime

I used drano to clear the sink. Then cover the sink hole and don't use the sink for some days till the flies die. Keep the kitchen clean and seal trash. They will die on their own.

Being a plumber for 22 yrs. chances are you have a broken pipe. Flies don’t just usually appear from a clog

Everybody has advice on drain flies....in drains....nobody has advice on when you have potted plants and they're laying eggs in that area. Any advice on that one?
@Matt-uq3um5 жыл бұрын
Make sure you are not over watering your plants. Look for green areas on the soil surface. This is usually an indicator of over saturation. Let the top of the soil dry in-between waterings. Also consider that many times it could be a FUNGUS GNAT using potted plants to lay their eggs.
@michaelelliott31535 жыл бұрын
I have heard to spray down the plant and soil with soapy water
@the6ix6654 жыл бұрын
Stephen H spray the surface of the dirt with hydrogen peroxide till it stops. Trust me it works and it doesn’t harm the plant

Honestly... how do you expect non-speed readers, to be able to read the first few introductory paragraphs you have at the beginning of your video? My "slightly" aging eyes could not possibly read this. If you want people to watch and rate your video positively, think about someone trying to read this, that doesn't know what you are saying...
