Runners high is that euphoric feeling that you hear people talk about, when they go for a run or something that they feel after their run. It's something that you usually get towards a longer run. It's hormones that your body releases after going for a longer intensity. It's not something that you're going to feel, maybe after a ten or twenty minute run, usually it would be an hour, hour and a half. But again, it's not something you are going to feel after every run.
Yes, I have experienced a runner's high. It just feels really good. It's like a mind, body connection. You almost feel weightless. You want it to last for a while. You want it to last forever, but again, it's not something you feel every time, and it's not something that you want to strive to go out, because you might be a little disappointed. You probably won't feel it every time.
There's no set distance. There's no set time that you're guaranteed to feel the runner's high, but it's more so for a longer run. Maybe if you're training for a half marathon, you'll probably feel it at some point during your training, or maybe even during your race. If you're going to go out running for about an hour, hour and a half, maybe about six miles to nine miles, you'll start to get it over at some point. Once you feel it, it's one of those things once you feel it you'll know.

You actually feel initial effects at the end of the 1st mile at 70% max heart BPM. At the 3-4th mile, you really start feeling it.

I got runners high 20 minutes in at the gym I felt like I could run forever it was if I was running on clouds..ever since then I've been chasing that dragon

You can run for just 15-25 minutes at 70-80% max heart BPM and hit the peak of runner's high. I know some people who started feeling "intoxicated" after just 7 minutes of running.

zeus lim I ran 6 miles one day when it was about 90° F outside yeah it took a whole but it was worth it, aim for a 10 min mile pace average

Feeling weightless is a good way to explain it but once u feel it you'll want to achieve it again untill mastering it.

I've gotten it when playing basketball a couple times. I also got it in a jog one time. It's great but I want it every time because then I could run for a lot longer.

You shouldn't sprint.. You should go a decent pace. Challenging but not overwhelming. When you want to stop, keep pushing it. Then you wanna collapse but push it more. Eventually you'll feel a burst of energy where you feel like you can go forever. Everything is in sync, you feel light, your soreness is gone. It helps to listen to motivational music at the same time

Take a THC edible, vape or drink before a run and that will ensure a runner's high.
