Received wisdom is that it takes about 10 years of moderate practice to get 'soft hands'. Of course, that time can be halved by spending more time (e.g. daily stick-handling exercise for 20 minutes).

Everyone's definition of SOFT HANDS is different? Soft hands like Pat Kane? Yay, that's gonna take a while! haha. But you CAN get softer hands after just one workout, small improvements. It adds up over time and in just 90 days of dedicated practice you should start noticing a big difference on the ice.

@@CoachZac My guess is that the younger guys can see differences quicker. At 43, I measure my progress in years, and my hands are iron clods compared to Kane (but softer than they were two years ago).

@@Bodycomp101 Same size as a toilet roll. Been practicing consistently for two years off-ice. Game changer is to use a blindfold. Good luck.
