Hello, I'm retired, and started lifting weights to increase my strength, @ 75 yrs old, I find these exercises hurts my lower back. However, these bands I am using doesn't cause my lower back injury. Thank you for your video on bands

Hi Dave just watched this video and am going to make a workout plan for myself . I'm 75 and getting backwlngs, I got two pairs of resistance bands free from Medicare which is in my budget. I tried them a few times and they seam OK. With you're videos and a little adjustment I think it will work out. I'm going to watch and learn and go at it. Thank you for helping everyone. Bob

Thanks Dave on your informative talk on R B’s. I’m 68 and started using tube bands about 3 weeks ago. I use your videos for exercises and do 3 sets @ 15 reps each. When I get ready to start my workout, I pull up your videos for the area I’m working that day. Thanks for the motivation to do the right workout with the right technique!

I'm really starting out and learning, enjoying your videos very much. I started with 5 lb dumbells while I walk and am adding resistance bands to my routine. After 2 weeks I snapped a band today. I'm assuming it's not "Hulk Mode" and more that I'm not doing it right. But that fact that I can even try is a huge improvement LOL

I would

I recently bought a set of both tubes and loops and finding that I might not have as much space for these as I thought(?). I'm hitting my wall when I pull like you mentioned. Can I increase the weights? Do I reach out and pull them harder? I am so confused😕. You mentioned the Anywhere Anchor? I suffer from Agoraphobia and don't go outside unfortunately.

What one type of band would you advise me to get if i have dumbbells+barbells? Currently am leaning on resistance loop bands but tube bands🤲🤲
@DisciplineDave2 жыл бұрын
I will go with the loops style bands if your intention is to use them with free weights. I recommend Undersun fitness bands I have a link in description in this video.

Great video. Can you make more videos about nutrition. You cover exercises and equipments but rarely you talk about nutrition.
@DisciplineDave2 жыл бұрын
I understand that I don’t really talk about nutrition and it’s because everyone is looking for a one size fits all nutrition system and our bodies just aren’t like that. Once you start recommending what people should eat you’re going on a slippery slope of acting like you are a doctor which I am not. I am about to upload a video though about nutrition deficiencies and how to find out what you’re deficient in and what you should supplement for using a home blood kit. I think most people neglect of getting their blood work done and only follow fat diets which is a bad idea. But thank you for your input if I feel that some nutrition advice will add value without being too preachy I will put that in

For the sake of full disclosure are you sponsored or paid by Torobands in any way?
@DisciplineDave2 жыл бұрын
I am apart of Torrobands affiliate program, but I’m a part of every band company that you see on the channels affiliate program. Which pays me pennies on the dollar. It’s not much at all. If you’re asking “do I have a reason to promote Torrobands more than other bands” I do not. I truly like their bands. I actually turned down an offer for them to do workout videos on TikTok which does pay me because It will create a bias and I don’t want that.
