Take her advice. If you have overly frizzy wavy, bordering curly hair braid your hair after washing it and let it dry like that. I also use coconut oil and it helps reduce the frizz and makes it wavy and shiny

my hair is so thick, curly, and long! its a whole process to wash, condition, blow dry, and flat iron. thankfully my hair doesnt get greasy so I only do this process once a week and shower cap the straight hair for the week.

This was my hair brushed wet and braided so it dried nice and wavy! If you have curly hair and brush it right out of the shower then braid it to air dry it helps a lot, with me at least! :)
