The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. So I did a little research of my own, it doesn’t “max out” the stats, it just adds two stamina bars to whatever horse. So if you have a 5 stamina, then it’ll add 2 to it, or if you have a 3 stamina horse it’ll still only add 2.

The first thing I did after getting the ancient saddle was going to the great plateau and calling my horse... and it worked! So now it is possible to ride a horse on the great plateau, awesome!

you need the Champion's Ballad DLC however the two DLC's are no longer available by themselves but this is actually a plus because one DLC normally costs $20. and you can only get them in a bundle. and the bundle of both is $20. therefor you get both for what would've been $40 but instead you get both for $20

If your current "Taken out" horse has the ancient armor then he'll just keep following you. Have a different horse "taken out" if you'd like to NOT have your horse follow you around.
