Is Myron golden not a marketplace spiritual leader? Funny you say this when I only discovered your content through his
@Youareaceo3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. I suppose your comment is related to me mentioning that I am not a marketplace minister but a minister who happens to be in the marketplace. First of all, my comments are related to me and my biblical understanding, not Myron Golden's. Myron is a great friend of mine, and I agree with you that he is a wonderful spiritual leader who happens to be in the marketplace as well. What he calls himself is up to him, and I'm not sure how he references himself in this regard, but I am in full support of his right to do so. I personally do not prefer to be called a marketplace minister because it is not a biblical term. If you don't believe in following the pattern of the Early Church that is in the bible, then I understand your position and respect it. If you believe in following the pattern of the Early Church, then you should understand my comments since a marketplace minister is not listed as a type of minister by Jesus or any of the ministers he called. Paul was a tent maker, and Peter was a fisherman, making them both entrepreneurs. However, you never heard them reference themselves as a marketplace minister. In fact, nowhere in the scriptures is there such a role, title, or any reference to some sort of business minister. The ministry has always been about one thing, helping people grow and develop into a mature Christian. Of course, as a minister, you may have knowledge regarding life, business, and/or wealth that can be useful to the people you serve. However, there is no role in which one would focus on either one of these as a type of ministry. The bible only identifies 5 offices in the ministry, each of which has a distinct responsibility and focus to help the church grow and prosper according to Ephesians 4. Some people choose to step outside of the bible to create all kinds of roles, names, and titles not based on scripture. Anyone can do this as they choose, I just choose not to do that because I feel the bible is our safety. Once we get into opinion and ideas not based on scripture, we get into a dangerous world in which my opinion is no better than yours. We lose a sense of right and wrong because we all start to say, "this is the way I see it, so who are you to judge." At this point, the scriptures become of no effect, and there is no wrong or right. I prefer not to live this way and to allow the scriptures to be my guide. Hopefully, this does not offend you or anyone else as my convictions belong to me and me only, and I respect anyone who chooses to be led by their convictions as well. I am grateful that you discovered me through Myron Golden as we both desired that more people hear about me in his network. This is the very reason he interviewed me in his studio on his awesome channel that continues to have great success. Thanks again for your comments, and may God bless you.
