Nice ! Never thought of doing it this way. Although unless I'm getting paid large for that stair . ...

Outstanding. Curious to how long 3 kites/winders would take ? And how would you charge ? It’s why I hate bound stairs . God be with the days of the simple wool overlock binding 😂🇮🇪

Can you come to the US and teach carpet installers here to do this!
@johnhayes52422 жыл бұрын
Would never do this, with all those joins you're just asking for trouble especially with a loop pile carpet even using F30 seamer. How many call backs does this technique get, he said at the start of the video he was going back to change that step, pretty certain they won't want to pay again. May look good at first but would like to see it in 12 months after a bit of traffic up and down was always taught not to put joins in high traffic areas unless essential.

Brilliant! Question What would you charge per curved step? I would charge about $200 us per step to do this. Thank you!

Pretty amazing skills, but I'm not sure you realise the implications of using F30 without at very least a resperator

The carpet works out a fortune waste of time

Why show people how it’s done ? Don’t see the benefit at all helping the Diy & crap fitters into trade secrets.

Only bonus is, he is showing an incorrect method and it will start to fail very fast.
@caneytt4 жыл бұрын
FloorSkills he is using the same method and glues,underlay that Nick Bolton posted up of how he does it though? He was shown how to do it by you?
@colinbeggs4286Ай бұрын
Total waste of time, that will wear in no time, especially a loop pile carpet. Stencil with craft paper and a combination square is far neater
@andrewpatient64592 жыл бұрын
Just no I mean just no no no , you do not do a winding stairs in stripe carpet like that at all, what you are showing people on here is so amateur and wrong, i have been doing and I only do winding stairs in pattern carpets for over 40 years where it has to either be continuous run in one and the pattern has to match with a change of tread at the top and the bottom, what your showing is so so wrong
@dougk062456 ай бұрын
Home Depot and Lowe’s is only willing too pay 75.00 for installation of entire flight of stairs to the installer even for bound runner up the middle more money has to be paid to the installer after thirty years of installing my wrists are shot with nothing to show for it while everyone else makes the money do not ever install carpet for a living you will not get paid anything for your efforts you’re better off being a door greeter at Walmart
