How to fit a stair runner on straight & winder/corner stairs - Dunelm herringbone jute runner

In this video I am sharing how I installed a stair runner on my stairs which have a straight run and 2 winding stairs at the top.
What I used:

I also used a scraper (should have used a bolster!), scissors, fabric scissors, carpet tape and duct tape.

Great work! We did a winder with 5 winding steps with this runner and didn't know about the rug option. We did manage, and it looks good, but wish I'd seen this first! Going to look at your stair rod fitting. Thanks!

Hi, I sanded the wood with my palm sander and painted it with white water based satin quick dry paint. I had to fill it in a couple of places but it was pretty good under the carpet ☺️
