Oh my Guy! This intro skit is just awesome! Can never have enough Hulk Hogan :) And some great insights into "filmic" and "cinematic look" on your side. As for Dehancer - I have seen it's really early days and I know their founder and CEO, even met him in person, he's a great photographer and definitely knows a lot about colour. It's nice seeing his (and his team's) product growing and getting noticed around the world.

Also, you are spot on with everything you say. For me, as a new fotographer I want to emulate cinematic look. For me it's the 24fps and the black borders (cinematic ratio) that also make things cinematic. It's all about what we are used to since before. It is very hard to make people think that 48fps i filmic as they have tried

Hi there! Subscribed right away. Great content! I have a question, do you have any idea what are the best film grain settings in Dehancer Pro so that when uploading to KZbin it doesn't give that awful compression look?

I use the default Dehancer film grain settings currently (what they start off as set to) which I think looks decent on KZbin but the effect is definitely minimised through the compression. I think it takes a bit of experimentation. I'm still working on my settings.

Great Intro as always!! As well as good content, this channel will be huge soon, it's just a matter of time for the film community to find it so keep going!!! I see that you used a RED Gemini, I'm in the process of purchasing ANOTHER camera, Lol, I already have a few BUT for some reason I think I need another one with "Better" specs (#@&😒).... Anyways, I've never had a RED and among my Cameras I have a pocket 4k, a pocket 6k pro, a Sony A7III and a few older Canons, etc. My question is: What would you pick between the RED Komodo, Ursa Mini 12K, Ursa mini 4.6 G2, SONY FX6, CANON C70 or any other camera in this price range??? Whoever wants to answer this question please feel free to do so and the reason why. Thanks everyone🙏

This is such a loaded question!! Very hard to answer without knowing your use for it. Or just responding as a comment. I will be tackling some deeper conversation around this in future videos. For me personally I've dipped my toe in the Red waters and I'm very much liking what they offer. But I want to make long form narrative content designed for the cinema and I've got access to a lot of lighting gear to accomodate their noisey nature. For corporate work Pocket 6K Pro all day, but if you felt like having auto focus and a point and shoot camera with super short setup times I'd say Canon C70 or Fx6(I'd pick C70) hands down. For making 'movies' or narrative work, I'd say Ursa G2 for value for money/flexibility best capabilities(that slow-motion!!). Red Komodo for prestige and upselling clients(and retaining its value for resale) potentially booking higher profile jobs and needing something very compact. But Komodo is if you really want to test your filmmaking metal in terms working to your camera to get an amazing image, as opposed to expecting your camera to provide an amazing image right out of the box. I've never seen more examples of bad footage on KZbin than I have with Komodo. 12K comes last because the G2 gives you everything except the unnecessary resolution bump, can be brought for cheaper and doesn't have some of those 12k quirks(although the 12k is still amazing). At the end of the day it's all an embarrassment of riches. So personally ,I picked the Komodo. But I wouldn't pick it any earlier my career or without having some very specific use cases that are unique to me. 🙏😂
