it shreds mirelurk queens similarly to the plasma minigun, though the plasma minigun takes plasma cores, which are around the same weight as fusion cores

The weapon could use a buff considering the grind to get one. I have a B2515 and it feels meh to me since the damage rework.

I finally caved (because were supposed to get perk loadouts soon and I can add a heavy build now) and got the Plans for the Gauss Minigun and got the mods you recommend here, so I got pretty lucky there. But not as lucky as I got with my first 5 rolls! First roll I got a 3* Anti Armor, then a couple rolls later, I rolled a 2* Vampires with FFR! So I’m pretty happy. Thanks for reassuring me that I grabbed the right mods!!

Very detailed presentation. I subscribe to your channel because of this fact. I watched your video because I am trying to decide if getting the Gauss minigun is worth the resources required. I currently have a Prime Gauss shotgun and it is one of my favorite weapons. It does well against most enemies, but you should not use it for the Scorchbeast Queen. Lastly, I really like the weapon DPS tool you provided a link for. Keep rockin' like Dokken.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback :D I would wait until next season coming next month and see if the new gun called the “Pepper Shaker” is something you’d like. It uses shotgun perks and heavy gun perks so it might be easier to fit into your build and it’s easier to obtain then the gauss mini gun!

Prime capacitor is pretty bad unless you know how to get Ultracite ammo for it considering you can't craft it

When Special Loadouts comes in, I will be using my grind (anyone else with over 100 treasury notes they can only turn 20 in a day, while getting more from dailies n Fasnacht now) to get that mini gun for a Heavy Gunner build. Currently I’m going for the Secret Service Jet Pack.
