Just slayed Barioth after struggling with my HR equipment, so I decided to craft Hornetaur α set but with the eye patch headgear. Slotted my ice resistance deco and some additional decos with whatever is available to my arsenal. It turns out pretty well. Now I'm after that Ice elder dragon to progress with the story. 🙏

Also beotodus and bone armor MR armor have some pretty good abilities and most importantly much better defense, definitely craft some of the pieces before moving on to harder monsters like tigrex and nargacuga. Dont go into the fights with HR gear and weapons

if you don't want to waste deco slot to farm Teostra bring Fireproof Mantle it do the same effect as the deco, null both the fire blight and the blast blight

I'm in safi gear I can complete day of ruin in about 9 minutes with HBG. I have been doing this for a few weeks, a few times a day. Just got an attack 4 deco yesterday after having a crit 4 gem drop last week. Highly recommend HBG as you can just stand there, shielding, and not think

9 minutes? I do it in 5:30 consistently with switch axe. With HBG you can get sub 4 even without a heroics build.

Day of Ruin is the best choice for regular farming but if you can do a heroics speedrun against kushala you can kill him sub 3 minutes but it takes time to master but it's also 100% better if you can pull it off.

killed 40-50 teostra grinding decos, still getting shitty ones or the ones i don't need. thinking of quitting because of the burnout spent more than 500 hours on the game, and still no level 4 attack, challenger, handicraft, earplug, hard fire, hard dragon etc. that's bullshit

Tempered lunastra is what you need to be killing for +4 decos man. Give it a day of grinding and I promise you'll get some

I had trouble with raging brachy so I go for fatalis instead, and with my first attempt I took out 2 evil eyes, than with my next 30 attempt took out another 3 😅 but my life is much easier now

Raging Brachy is the hardest not boss monster in the game. Fatalis just hits like a truck and have a lot of health, but you get used to his attacks soon or later. Raging Brachy is a pain until last phase xD

if im not mistaken, you can essentially stun lock kushala if you keep at its head with a spread HBG build. I think either safi burstcannon or fatalis vor buster work for it

@@LightItUpDan it is 😁 i still die a lot on his high jump. My safest bet so far is fatalis hbg with N3. With evade extender 3. U gotta stay far away from a rabid monkey. Also good thing is that there is always players available for SoS. Most of those who join monkey hunt r pretty competent. I will also suggest using ur vouchers on this, u may get upto 7 tickets in a single run. Of course run teostra first to collect lvl 10 deco first, then go after the monkey.

You only get some of the lvl 11 decos from the tickets (attack +2 or affinity +2 have to be grinded other way,). But still they are great to fill with your fatalis armor.

I think it's important not to fall too deep into grinding for decos honestly, they're there to enhance more than anything else

You can't get atk 4 crit4 until MR100. Even then grinding for them requires extreme patience or luck or both. You better forget about those and instead focus on the good ones that are easy to get. Crit/divine help, challenger jewels also, and the rest depends on your build.

As new player in iceborn master rank this is completly useles to me 😂 but for other early master ranks farming master hornetau ivestigations will give you randomly 1-2 decoration in less than 2 mins

Well furious rajang is one of the hardest monsters so I wouldnt feel bad about not being able to Solo him. I did it once and never touched him again xD. Stygian zinogre I find pretty reasonable though, on the same level as regular zinogre id say.

Tip: there is a binder located in the arena and a ballista if you fought fatalis you know exactly what to do. Also if you get bored of fighting teostra tempered master rank elder dragon investigations can give you some extra decos as well. Shout out to ruiner for being extremely harassable if you can break his white spikes.

Here I am after 350+ ours playtime, ton of Snow Bloom, A lot of Days of Ruin, many Threat lv 3 Tempered Investigations and still only have ONE EACH F***ing Attack, Expert, Challenger +4 Jewels.
