George, This was perhaps the most poignant, truth telling, and important video concerning the subject of divorce and breakups that I've ever come across. I wish this was available back in the early 90s (*sighs)....Anyways, having lived through an extremely bad relationship a few decades back, I feel it necessary to tell anyone that trying to fix a leaky boat (bad marriage) for too long will find oneself at the bottom of the sea feeling bewildered and bitter. Heed this sage wisdom George here has imparted upon all of us. He truly gets it!!! I've shared this with my son and some young lads as a precursor to potential pitfalls in matters of the heart. An ounce or two of proven prevention, is preferable to a pound of cure.

Thank you I’ve recently discovered you. I to am going through a divorce after 20 years married and 3 kids! 27 years together! HS sweethearts and all! Everything you spoke about is exactly the same experience I am having! The last 3 months I have completely uprooted and moved bought a new home with all new things nothing that we acquired together I took. Wiped the slate clean. Started to work out lost 51 pounds and gained so much confidence in myself and started to self love. I too tired to hang on only to get burned and set back. I was a door mat and am priority LAST on anything that doesn’t have to do with our children. When something like that happens the first thing any man needs to do is move forward. When a woman checks out they check out and no convincing otherwise. Don’t waste your emotions and time 💯 It is painful, you feel abandoned, empty, confused and frightened to face the world by oneself, you are not alone as others are going through the battle. Thank you for the video I will watch them all.

Love George and his sage wisdom.... he knows his stuff. I've been through this cycle a couple times. Once not long ago after losing my wife of 23 years in 2017... then a horrific breakup with a younger woman a year ago. Two totally different forms of loss... but similar in many ways... the grief and sorrow and the self pity is the worst... the solution is the same. Appreciate the good there was and don't ever focus on the negatives and move on... because life doesn't ever stop. Keep moving forward... as Disney used to say. As Aaron Clarey writes in The Menu, get comfortable being alone and with yourself or no one will ever want your company. We all come into this world alone and leave the same way. Very good video. I'd say the worst mistake I made after my divorce was to jump back into the dating market really quickly. I hooked up a lot to try and replace what I had lost. It was not good and I had caused a lot of hardship for those short-term partners. Best to just take a break, let yourself process the break-up/divorce, and then re-enter dating after enough time has passed. When you no longer think of the ex, is when enough time has passed.

The first time I heard of Mr. Bruno, I was sent a link to an interview about his divorce. Specifically, how the congregants turned on him- and supported and uplifted the wife who initiated the divorce- in the Presbyterian church he and his then wife had attended for years. It helped many men over the years. It is OLD. Wish I'd saved the link.

It happens a lot to men. I was treated like I had the plaque at my church when my divorce started. The singles, especially the single parent groups, are dating pools and usually not good ones. I stopped going. I read my Bible at home.

... as a German Biologist - it is a slow process of sensing strong Antagonisms that become emotional Allergies - which are incurable. It is Distance and Meta Morphosis - to start a new Life - with better Senses and RADAR to detect from afar Predators and Vampyres. A Phase Transition to a higher state of Life. This can be extremely painful and devastating - like the Dark Night of the Soul. I promote Inner Strength Training and EMAT - Emotional Martial Arts Training - we will get more challenges than we can imagine - Things to come - H G Wells...

"That is a tough debt to collect'" --- George, this one is brutal. I wish you would have elaborated on this what the therapist said.

How many times does a car need to be DRIVEN before it is called a rental? Man, that was profound! Even if it may not yet be driven, it has been in my mind so onto workin on ME and being the BEST thing that happens for the next woman in my life.

"stop driving by the f*** apartment or house" I had to laugh so hard... that's exactly what I wanted to do.

I'm at the very beginning. Paperwork is coming... I will be honest heartbreak is an eclipse of pain. And it comes and goes. In short, I'm listening.

Hey George... thank you for this. You and I are a similar age and I've been through some shit. I found this video full of such wisdom and encouragement. I've recently gone through a break up and maybe because of my age and experience I'm doing well, what you spoke about I have done instinctively... thank you man, I feel like you are a brother. As a side note, I've decided to grow out my beard... 3 months in.

Hi . Great advices. In my case Ive asked for divorce after 2 y of sexless and complicated marriage. It wasnt easy to maked that call but there wasnt any dialog between us . We did mane family and marriage therapys but there wasnt any improvements. So the divorce is in progres . Its not easy because we have 2 small children. I love smoking my piepes too and my go to is capstan blue . Thank you for all you advices. I was really trying to save that marriage but i think she decided long time ago and was trying to force me to make that decision. I need to get to the shape too . God bless you
