I feel like waves for me personally are way more easier to maintain then dreads! Because with waves I already naturally take care of my hair so I would just have a blueprint of how I wanted my hair to be brushed and stay consistent.. With dreads “Starting” is the longest part! If you do not complete the whole dread look you just end up finger coiling your hair until you officially lock up your sections!

How often to apply pomade and motorizer in a week? And how often to wash

What I do, is after I wash my hair I might use the pomade to help lay the hair but you don’t need to constantly use it. As for washing, you can wash it in a week or in two weeks, it really just depends on your hair and how much products you putting your hair. Also don’t forget to brush your hair in the shower too, the steam helps it lay down
