We have multiple grades of texture, depth, and each requires a different level of care (as this video clearly highlighted). And while I can't sit here and say anything about how white hair works, I know that as a black man with a natural hair, there's a lot that I have to do with my hair that a white person doesn't. Do white men have to water their hair every night and wear a satin lined cap when they sleep to keep moisture locked in? Do white men have to oil their hair, apply leave in conditioners, and be sure to use the right shampoo for their particular grade? I'm not saying that they don't, but I am saying that we do.
