I begged and cried for her to stay. I wrote her a letter and made a playlist for her. After seeing that those didn’t work I decided that I needed to not chase after her anymore. Since August to this day, she contacts me and tries to make things work. She actually said “I regret my decision on breaking up with you”. Funny enough is that in the beginning I was the one who was crying for her and now she does that to me. I always wanted her to come back but I remember that I waited days for her to come back. That turned into weeks and finally months. Now I don’t even want her back. But lowkey though, it’s hard to accept this and it hurts to let go. Thank you Vincent for being with me every step of the way. Now I’m doing my own thing that I was never able to do when I was with her. I took singing classes and signed up for my last semester in college (actually tomorrow 12/13/23 is my last day for college). Everything is coming my way. I truly appreciate your help.

The total amount of texts and calls I've made to her since she left is zero. 36 days now after 9 years relationship. I knew a bit about no contact so I implemented it immediately. I am so extremely proud of myself for not lowering my value to her. I have been thriving, of course there is a persistent ache but it doesn't vary too much and it's manageable. I truly have come to believe that the most pain is self inflicted when we are willing to devalue ourselves in an effort to prove something to an ex. Hold your head high. Be too mature and too good to be affected by this nonsense. You have your own life. Detach from them. They have nothing to offer you but frustration. Wish them well, stay cool but polite. Don’t stoop to their level.

These guys know. You have to purge it. You can control that, give them 5 minutes to an hour a day, the rest is your time. Get it all out, clean system. Don't date until it's done. But I think it's okay to flirt and sharpen your skills
