This is the style I have asked for but never gets cut like this. I had this style in high school. LOVED it. I saved your video with the hopes of finding someone who can do this cut.

Do you get a perm with your hairstyle? I might try to get mine without a perm . It’s just seems easier to style with a perm.

Just wondering….is there anything similar about Heather Locklear’s famous hairstyle to the others famous styles that you have shown in your videos? (You remind me of her)

I’ve asked for my hair to be cut that way for so long but I feel my hairdresser didn’t listen so I never got it done more than the one time when she did. Thank you. I have a new lady coming to do my hair and she’s actually excited to see how I would like my hair, so I’ll be showing her this.

That’s awesome. You should probably send it to her before and let her watch it a couple times and it took me years to become an expert and specialist of this haircut because it just takes a little time to like know the pattern learn how to stand learn how to hold your fingers, but I think if she watches it a few times she’ll do very well

Just an FYI. I worked as a hair stylist in the early eighties and I remember the Farrah Fawcett haircut! The difference with the way we did hair then is perms! Body waves! If you'll notice there is always a bit of a curl in most of the hair we did it wasn't just straight hair cut into layers all over. We performed about five a day which was very lucrative that's the only difference it's a beautiful cut I love it I had it as well for many years

Oh maybe you can blow dry it more like the Farr faucet Hair Cut I do have three magic blow dries it watch the full volume one, and I just want to let you know that usually even if a hairdresser watches this video might take few times to really imprint it and become really good at it

Yes, this is very similar to my haircut. I actually have on my TikTok how I cut the top of my hair and I do cut my hair exactly the same way in the Beachball pattern. And if you wanna watch the video, there’s one that’s the Jacqueline Smith haircut, it’s my beach ball pattern. I have a few videos with the beach ball pattern, I recommend this blueprint to cut your hair with

Farrah’s hair… I don’t think had any point cutting. This lady is good though.

Farrah had longer hair on the sides and into the back, but lots of layers to avoid a disconnect. Her front fringe was about nose length, and layered throughout, with the same fingers-up finish to enhance the flip. The crown was simply blended into the back via the sides, which were pulled forward to better angle back, with a bit of the fingers up finish. She was blessed with a good amount of hair, almost a double crown, so ‘Nipping’ or shallow point cutting on just the ends to finish the cut would have only made it a little more feathery and fluffy. It wouldn’t have detracted from the basic cut or altered the shape; but more likely would have enhanced the flip and the layers. She had more than enough hair to carry off the slightly wispy ends of a nipped, shallow, 1/8”- 1/4” point cut throughout, and especially in the front and along the sides, giving lots of airy movement to an otherwise ‘heavy’, nearly blunt cut. The fingers up gives an almost beveled edge, with a shattered feathery finish. Her side length was about collarbone and got a bit longer toward the back. A beautiful cut altogether.

I know this is an imposition but i am quite deperate. I have shoulder length hair that i was rying to decide if i should leave grey and white...covid hair. So i was using temporary fun colors so i didn't lose my mind. They washed out nicely UNTIL I used Splat purple. I did not relize it is actually clothing dye. So I nowhave a purplehalo about three inches down that i have been unable to remove. I have tried various recipes with dandruff shampoo and Dawn dish detergent , asprin and clarifying shampoo. Many qrecipes. ...left on for multiple hours. Color oops. And I was washing my hair with 10% peroxaide every time mixed with my shampoo. My hairdresser tried to remove it with bleach and merely spread in to a pink five inch band around my head. Is there anything you can think of ? I know...but i hate to cut off all my hair. Oh, she did color it red ...no more grey. I am quite a colorful woman currently....HELP please.

Oh my goodness that is such a Hair Journey, You definitely must be a fun, one full of courage and excitement. You jump off the building and grow your wings on the way down. I love it that’s my kind of girl. Well, there’s something called erase and it takes out permanent box. There’s also processing solution from shades Q with 10 or 20 volume developer and that will remove fashion colors but you just gotta read the directions on them just so that you follow and I probably would look it up on KZbin as well just to see if anybody’s done it I mean I’ve definitely use erase and it worked great.
