Love this cut & how quick you can give someone a hot layered cut. You’re great at breaking your cuts down & making them easy to understand & re-create. Thank you

Just last night, I got the “straight out of 1976 original Farrah.” My stylist was very nervous at first. It came out so perfectly though. Couldn’t be more thrilled.
@dudley55332 жыл бұрын
Very well done. Although not the original Jose Eber creation, it's the closet so far to it. I think he did a bit more feathering on the ends of the front layers. Working on a model with thinner hair than Farrah's, had to be more difficult to achieve that Farrah Fawcett look. Your methodical sectioning and point cutting made it a success.

My alltime favourite cut. Back in the day, we all wanted it. Great for straight thin hair or thick curly hair like mine.

Hi, I see u say ur hair thin, does this give u volume? as teenagers in 80s my hair was little thicker then now.. i wore it like Farrah… I wonder if the layers make my look to thin, I had hair salon tell me that if I cut it with lots layers it make my hair look stringy .. Ik some thin hair are diff by person.. mine is more on baby fine hair.
@lf93412 жыл бұрын
@@theresam8809 you can...she probably doesn't know how to layer it correctly to keep it from not looking thin. It is all about elevation.

@@theresam8809 Depends how thin we’re talking. If you can see through your full head of hair, your hair is probably too thin to layer. If when you part your hair, you see a LOT of scalp, it might be too thin.

@@gummy5862 hi, no my hair not that thin not yet lol.. just baby fine.. thanks for replying..

I like that he was honest and up front that this is a Modern Farrah Cut. And I think his guess is correct about how it was done in the 1970s. Different technique back then. You can see the patterns in old magazines and hair cutting books from the 1970s. And some KZbin videos may have that particular old school technique. I hope this man does another Farrah Cut that follows the old school 70s Technique. Just to see. But I think his Modern Farrah Cut came out great. And he explains it well in this tutorial. ThankYou for explaining and showing all this. .

Your best very class (clear explanation about your guide) You get my thumb up 👍 and liked , plus sharing your Video with others. When a Educator explains clearly, so anybody could cut the hair they become very very popular❤️

Bill my hair is very thick I loved the farra I even had a long version cut as well never stopped getting comments on my hair . I could also blow dry it all forward and straight or a bouncy blow dry my cut was the best out there so many ways I could wear that cut I only wish I could find someone to do it again but i never have since my hair dresser of 25 years retired .

@@maryle3662 it is a tutorial….. he’s teaching a haircut. Some viewers, like me, want (need) explicit instructions. I’ve attended classes with instructors like Matrix and Redken which were costly so I am appreciative that Matt takes the time to post free videos with so much detail. One can always mute the sound or watch at a faster speed. I don’t always appreciate background music on some videos so I do that.

Omg I’ve been saying for decades to stop focusing on the end line until last. Let’s focus on the body and then cut what’s needed off the ends afterwards. It’s a total game changer. The end line should be that the end of the haircut. If you have a strong basic knowledge of the cut you’re trying to achieve the end line shouldn’t be where you begin unless you’re seriously reducing the length.

Buy your own cutting scissors and a 3 side mirror. Lol. Srsly i started cutting my own hair since end of 2020 and i feel more satisfied cutting it myself. Usually shoulder length and longer is easy to do. Sometimes, with bob, you have an oopsie at the back cus you couldnt see it or your couldnt get the angle right bcs right left coordination. Just cut the layers and have someone help with the straight line on the bottom.

I Was on tick tock. And I came across the Farrah fawcett hair challenge. And one young lady that goes by the name of Beezzybee. She had the best fare faucet. Hairstyle out of everyone that was trying to do it. But I would love to know how to do that cut. It was layers everywhere. If you go on there she is rocking out to Lisa Lisa and cult jam. She has on a black and red camouflage shirt. I would love to know how to do this haircut. Even though I know it's a wig but it was the best one. Other than the tick tocker who created this challenge. She goes by Mel . But please if you can. Tell me the name of this haircut. Or if you can show me how to do it. I have a upcoming '70s and '80s party. And I need this hairstyle. 😍😉☺️
