I can dare to say this madam's teaching points are absolutely basic and crucial.I should've known these focal points earlier.Even though I am a long distance swimmer, I am not able even to float on my back either on my belly.I didn't even know what the keep balancing means in the water.Thanks so much, Ma'am!

It's a pleasure! I have a few! All of those videos have to do with flutter kick: These two videos are actual lessons with a student with a fear of water. There are 14 lessons all together. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2HTY2BppcqnY7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/i32rfIl5dp19aKM This one is the first out of ten lessons with a student who had to get ready for a 1.2 mile swim in open water: Triathlon Swimming Lessons: kzbin.info/aero/PLlni5Zb5tjJnTs8E77X-uUYJp96kzd3WZ These are separate tutorials for flutter kick: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f57CgoWBgpx_otE kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2O6opSbfN5geKM kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJPQc4ijlrGGeLs kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJ7ZhayEnNehsKM

Hi, this is an old video but I’m hoping you respond. I’m learning to glide now in beginners swimming class but I struggle with my balance and feels wobbly almost like I’m falling over and have to stand up. The same thing happens when I use a kickboard and try to add arm movements. As soon as one hand comes off the kickboard I struggle to keep horizontal. Any suggestions is appreciated thank you x

Hello @LavenderAnime211 yes, I am still here. The disbalance you are describing is due to your gluteus muscles (your buttocks) and your abdominal muscles not being tightened enough. Next time you glide or kick, squeeze your butt and engage your abs, and please let me know if it helps you with your balance. These exercises will help you learn how to engage your muscles for a streamline position: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmOZdJ18pbukjNU

Hey just want to ask do you need to breathe out in nose while gliding? Thank u
@easyflowing

Hi. Thank you for your question. Whenever the head is in the water, exhaling should always be out through the nose, inhaling is threough the mouth in order to make it a habit. When the habit is established, if the head is at an angle, where water doesn't get in the nose on its own, then, exhaling can be through the mouth or both, through the mouth and the nose at the same time, depending on how forceful the exhale needs to be.

@@easyflowing yes I just learnt floating and gliding this week and realised that the back arch thing really helps bring the body in a line. Your gliding is really smooth 👌🏻

Is your whole head under water during the glide?? I struggle with that.
@easyflowing

The face is in the water; the water should just cover your ears. The main thing is to tuck in your chin without dropping your head down. In this position, you should be able to hold your breath without letting the water in your nose. If you properly tuck in your chin, it will also help you activate your abdominal muscles, which will make your glide smoother. Where is it comfortable for you to keep your head during the glide?
