just buy B-7000 glue and add some arround the frame... easier and you wont dmg the lcd if you want to remove. Easy to remove it with some hot air around 100-120 temp..

Thank you, firstly this has got to be the most terrible advice, to use double sided tape. For anyone wondering it'll just lift again after a short period of time. Your comment made finding and buying a small tube super easy, had no idea it had a name (also it's cheaper than a roll of double sided tape too). I just had the top falling off, so I lifted it a bit, put double sided tape on both sides from the center, and pressed it down. I didn't want to mess with glue, and also didn't want any tape to be visible, and it holds, so, yaaay.

Norman33 yes it's normal for it to stick up at the edges, especially when using tape. the factory uses a rubber gasket that goes all the way around the screen (and they melt it on with a heat gun) otherwise people usually buy a plastic hard case for their phone/tablet to press down the edges.

Why not just use some marine sealant adhesive? Not only will it stick to it, it will also waterproof it.

I had replaced my redmi note 4 damaged display with a new one (not original) but after few days it started to pop out.again and display also giving problem. Again I renewed with a new display which I ordered online but after some days it also started coming off .. does this problem is due to duplicate display which I am putting. I bought double side tape, I'm trying to glue a new screen on nokia 6... but the contact surface is realy small... I think b-7000 is a good option if you can't buy B-8000 instead... if every thing is done you never gonna open your phone again.... until the battery start to fail... I imagine if you repaired the screen yourself.... your probably will change your batery your self too, so if double side tape was used at screen back surface instead on the sides of the frame... you may have to buy a new one... with this information in mind, invest on right glue may be good choise... but... double tape side never is a complete lost of money

Here's a tip! Double-Sided tape can be a little hard to find, so you can just take normal regular Duct Tape, rip off a small poece, and fold the tape. When you fold the tape the sticky sides should be facing up both ways. So when you do it, sticky side on the bottom of the inside, and sticky side on the top of the inside, then press it down and it's good! You're welcome!

Please don't use this advice. Double sided tape will lift again straight away. Get some proper mobile phone screen glue (B-7000 as I have just found out) or you can get double sided tape specifically for phones if you really want to use tape. This double sided tape is an office product and will quickly degrade and fall apart and you'll just end up with a bigger mess.

ive tried b6000 b7000. they are an option but i dont recommend. they dont hold good. after awhile comes loose. but at least no damage done. hardware store silicone worked better. but im going back to tape with tape in as many places including the middle to help hold down.

Thanks for the updated info, I ended up using duct tape just to prevent further lifting, then I found these mobile phone fix people at my local shops who were going to fix it properly with that mp glue for $10.00 the guy popped the back off and the battery was bulging! He said this was why the front was lifting. New battery and resealed for $55.00 bargin, problem solved. Thanks again.
