Nothing new yet I believe. The M2X is only 3month old. I'd say defiantly pick one up if you can find it on sale.

Karl Meyer thanks man! I didn't realize they released an updated version.. it's so tempting. Do you still use yours often? Like is it more of a novelty that wears off after a bit? That's the only thing I'm worried about

It's pretty addicting. Once you've used it you start to crave it after a while. Video games especially. They'll never been the same with out it. The tactile feel of gun shots and explosions are just too good. I will say that it's a bit cumbersome because it's so stiff and if you use it for a long duration or on high intensity for a while, your back will start to feel weird, fatigued. If you love audio you'll love it and become addicted like me. You won't want to listen without it.

Oh my god I feel so stupid I didn't know dual blue-tooth was a thing for the Samsung S8. I've been plugging my headphones directly into the slot on the Subpac and it's made the experience rather irritating because of the cord. Thanks for the information i'm able to use it completely wireless now.

If you have a phone like a Samsung s8, you can activate Bluetooth dual audio and transmit audio to both subpac and Bluetooth headphones. Fully wireless.

you can do this natively w android and it's super easy - select 'dual audio' in advance bluetooth settings

so what if i wanted to wear my pack when i drive but play music from my phone to my car with BT and then also pair to my pack in the car so they sync up... Do these have a mode where it just listens for music around you and what not?

That would work. Though I've tried using the m2x while driving and couldn't do it. Very uncomfortable.

airpods w a subpac is about as extreme a discrepancy i can think of. but that's because airpods fit terribly in my ear. thanks for sharing. i actually own an S8 so that's great

Pretty well. The initial pairing process is a real pain though, which makes switching from the splitter to your phones native bluetooth a bit tedious.
