Actually one of the best tutorials I've seen on yt. Well explained while being not too long, or too short. Good structuring too, I like the tease that you include in the title panes for each section, which kinda lets you know what to expect, but also doesn't ruin the experience. You've definitely earned a sub from me and I look forward to your upcoming videos!

Idk if this is a byproduct of mixing genres to fight boredom of modern music or AI excelling at more generic music so people have more incentive to be more creative than ever, and i certainly don't even listen to this type of music, but i am so happy that new generations of internet prods are still finding ways to make unique niche music. Definitely gonna learn and implement a lot of stuff i've seen from this channel and similar!

so what about teaching us how to write those chords now?
@tnkyyy6 ай бұрын
About the chords video... I mentioned a few videos ago that I would make a video on how I make chords... I have sat down to try and make the video but I haven't been able to come up with 'one trick' or an 'easy method' on making them... in reality, nothing can beat listening to music and understanding music theory (intervals, cadences, chords etc.). The videos I made gave an impression of restricting your creativity to specific chord progressions! I can offer some tips however!... 1. Use chord extensions (7th, 9th) 2. Start with the bassline! A lot of songs in the genre use a similar bassline which uses chromatic steps and 2-5-1 movement 3. Study common chord progressions (4-5-3-6 and 4-5-6-3 are probably the most common) A good exercise is just to copy the chord progression from a song you like; you can do this by listening for the bottom note, then checking if the chord sounds minor then major, then adding notes for extensions etc. Hope this helps-

Can i do this on fl studio mobile?
@tnkyyy2 ай бұрын
yes definitely !! most of the sounds are possible with MiniSynth as they are mostly simple (they are a sine sub bass, saw bass, detuned unison saw lead and supersaw stack as the main sounds alongside piano). I think you should be able to copy most the sounds :) You can find some good drum sample packs online; I recommend searching for KSHMR and VENGEANCE sample packs :) if you have any questions please feel free to ask !!
@fusionpyro86034 ай бұрын
what drums did you use?
