I know dark meat has more flavor but I prefer white meat of the chicken . From start to finish , you made this whole process seem easy . I’ve always been afraid to grill so I leave that to my husband lol

hopefully people find this video useful. thighs are my favorite part, nobody in the family likes the breast. I usually just end up shredding it and making quesadillas with it or dump it on a salad. Next time you should take control of the grill, I try to encourage the wife to get out there and cook on it as often as I can, for beginners I always recommend they have 2 zones in their grill, so if things get too hot, you can put your meat over to the "cool" side. It's kind of a safety net and really helps with the fear people have of burning their food.

I will highly recommend using boneless chicken thighs to start. Super easy and flavorful. Here's a super simple recipe you can try. Ingredients: Goya brand Sazón Goya brand Adobo Fresh Cilantro (Dry cilantro will work too) Dried Oregano flakes Italian Dressing Your fave BBQ sauce Steps; Season the chicken thighs with Goya brand Sazon (Package shown in video) and Adobo. Place the pieces in a Ziploc bag. Take the Italian dressing and pour it in a cup. You only need enough to cover the chicken, not drown it. Add fresh chopped cilantro and oregano to the cup. Pour over the chicken and let it marinate overnight in the fridge. Next day get your grill situated as posted in the video and cook the chicken thighs until 175*. Yes, 175*. Once at 175* sauce them with with favorite bbq sauce and place them over the hot coals to crispy it up a bit. That's it. Amazing Chicken! For the Sazón and Adobo, your large grocery store should carry it. I know Walmart by me does. I truly like Kinders Mild BBQ sauce. It's really, really good. I have made this recipe countless times and never had an upset eater.

I cook chicken more often than I'd like to admit. Just like cooking a big batch, pulling it, freezing it in portions and just enjoying it on everything during the week.doesn't get any easier than pulled chicken sandwiches/salads/tacos/quesadillas/etc/etc/ETC! I can find whole chickens on sale at 99cents a pound and whole chickens at costco is pretty consistent at 1.50 /lb so it's a pretty easy choice to make. thanks for taking a look my friend!

Kettles are must haves, they are so versatile, you can cook anything!
@L1105082 ай бұрын
Why my charcoal always burnt out in less than one hour? Is it because my grill is too big? I'm using 26" Weber kettle and filled around 3/4 of the Weber chimney starter with charcoal. I opened bottom and top all full, after 30 minutes the temp won't go over 300F.
@SJCOOKS2 ай бұрын
This question comes up quite often believe it or not. Usually on the 22” if you want to go hot, you need to use more charcoal. I can drop a full lit chimney over an unlit pile and that will get it really hot!. The 26” is a beast and requires more. This is assuming you want a hot zone across the entire grate. Most of us will be creating two zones for safety and doesn’t require this much charcoal. But I think in your case try starting with more charcoal at the begining so they don’t go out on you during the cook.
