you can also do this in shangri spa, take the platform going to spring of jungle mist then take the other to the island with a collectible treasure, there is 1000+ coins there. then go to the pipe going to toad town. then repeat. It is slower but gives more coins.

Not 40k in Coin @ scuffle island comes out to 31,116 still good amount but when you try to grind you can only make 11,116 coin after the first time finishing scuffle island

There's not a secret cutscene for no game overs and no BATTLE accessories. There is a special badge however for doing so
