Love how the British DIY instructors get right down to it without a lot of unnecessary chit chat. Great video! 😊

Attempting to do my bathroom and kitchen floor and am very grateful for your videos. Headed out now for a mask and some extra buckets and sponges as I’d already purchased a dremel, hand tool and the grout. Going to attempt just small maybe 4x4 sections at a time. Thanks again and wish me luck. 🍀

I have a small area to grout and a big bucket of grout which needs to be mixed. So is it possible to use part of your advice and instead of following manufacturers instructions to use the whole lot as theyre packages of stuff to mix in are all weighed in their specific weights to create the chemical reaction. Its expensive too, i didnt buy it and will waste most of it because i dont need it. Any help is appreciated, thank you

I recently grouted my bathroom using black Mapei grout. It’s been weeks since have done it, the grout appears dry but for some reason if it gets wet, it will run and come off on my hands. It also seems very porous. Any advice?

A lot of manufacturers don’t recommend using a drill and whisk to mix grout, but rather to do it by hand. This is because the powered method introduces a lot of air into the mix and causes the grout to go off quicker.

Our grott has cause a leak, I can see small cracks and when the shower is on it leaks when the tiles are wet. Luckily we have another bathroom we can use until I regrott it.

Should say in the instructions on your packet of grout. I suspect different brands would have different ratios.
