Every other video tells me I can plant from scraps but this is the only one to show a finished product from scraps, so thank you so much for that 🤗

Hi Angela, thank you for your presentation last night at the Mesa library. I just watched this video and I can’t thank you enough for all the information you put into it. From starting dates for starting seeds indoors to the best months to grow and how many plants per sq ft. This is one of the most complete videos ever. I so appreciate all your hard work. You make gardening in the desert much easier to comprehend and we always know who to turn to when gardening issues and questions arise. YOU!

I´m going to keep in mind everything you said about water and feedings. I´m in zone 9 too and it´s like a war against the sun making all of the water evaporate! Thank you for your tips for us zone 9 folks :)💚

Whenever you post a new "how to grow" video, I want to plant what you're talking about. Usually, though, it is HARVESTING time for those plants, not planting time 😭 so I'll stick to your calendar for the PLANTING schedule. You should have seen me running to my seed storage, thinking I could get away with a nice nasturtium crop this late in the season after watching that video! 😂

I know!!! There are so many crops being harvested right now, it's hard not to share about them. Hopefully you'll add them to your planting list and seed starting list for fall.

As always so informative, thank you. Have you heard of leaves or stalks tasting salty? Pulling salts from the soil? On Epic Gardening a KZbin found the taste of leaves very salty?

The flavor can be strong. Watering well before harvesting can help with this.

I really enjoy your informative channel. Zone 9B also, No. Calif. I also have grown celery from the stump end. I have a question for you and perhaps anyone reading this. I have something eating down to soil level broccoli and Brussels sprouts. Chewed on spinach and demolished shelling peas. I haven't seen what is causing the problem. We have gone out at night to see if snails or slugs were the problem. Nothing. So if a rat or mouse, I don't know. I use a compost made of lobster and crab and also a cactus mix so lots of lumps etc. Would be hard to notice rat droppings. HELP! How do I clean my soil of any urine or droppings if indeed a horrible rodent? That is my question. Gardening gives me such a lift, we are empty nesters and it helps fill some long days. Also I am a cancer survivor and gardening was something I always wanted to do. It then became a reality. Now I am worried about all the disease a rat could introduce to my soil. Anyone have any help? Thanks.

I live in zone 7A - southeast. I've tried celery from scraps and from seeds. So far - nothing works for me, but I'm always willing to try again. But in this part of the country - it's not always a formula for growing.

Please tell me what that beautiful pink flower is that is blooming in the video next to your celery. Id like to get some. I'm in Texas on the Gulf coast. We have miserable hot humid summers. We don't have dry heat. Our temps aren't quite as high as yours in summer but are just as drastic to be felt.

I'm not sure - do you know the timestamp? Celery grows during our cooler months - lots of flowers bloom very well.

I'm in Mesa too. I planted potatoes in November in a raised bed, they were doing great, now they are infested with gnats, I spotted 2 squash bugs and some kind of yellowish white spider! I'm so sad, do I pull them or is there something I can do? Thanks in advance.

How long does the celery salt last?
@GrowingInTheGarden

For freshest flavor use within about 6 months. It will last much longer than that if stored properly.
