How to Grow Chia Sprouts (with Water Only)

I've never been a fan of gardening, but my mom has a green finger. After covid, food prices soared and the garden she made at home saved us so much money. At one point we were wondering what to do with all the tomatoes, onions, and vegetables we were growing cause they were too many to keep up with. At this point I realise the value of these kinds of things. Would love to try this out.

Actually I put seeds in a water bottle and they grow sprouts, interestingly, they were all connected via the sprouts, I wonder why? Not one was apart. Some chia seeds didn't sprout but they were connected to the other sprouts so I ate them too. Yummy, awesome for digestion too

I suggest you add the water first and then the seeds will spread more evenly. I also grow mine in a window. They are green and beautiful. No need to put them in a dark place. Green is good.

Be careful using tin, it rusts easily and you will end up swallowing rusty metal. Better to use glass, ceramic or porcelain, it is also more hygienic.

@@dreamcatcher-sd1jj you first grow them at around 60 degrees Fahrenheit or about 15 Celsius in a dark place for 7 days each day spray it with a spray bottle then when its about 8 days old you can transfer it to a bigger container and then put it outside if its 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit

@@parsin63 worked for me today im going to eat them! I got a glass bowl and put paper towel at the bottom. Wet it with the seeds on it. Then i put that Glass bowels inside a Giant ziplock bag and poked holes the size of my finger poking into it. Worked well!
