I live in South Georgia so goodness we grow a lot of peanuts. Boiled peanuts on every corner but my favorite is the small red peanuts that have 3 to 4 in each pod. Peanuts were planted behind sweet corn so the peanuts are still really small and probably won’t be harvested this year until late in the fall. Peanut scouts are seeing Lesser Cornstalk Borer in some peanuts right now. Hopefully you won’t have that problem. ❤

We have hard red clay that my husband had amended the soil on our garden plot for the last 4 years. The dirt looks better, but even tilling, the weeds take over. This Spring, he put the chickens out there to really clean it up. Hopefully next year we’ll be growing peanuts. I can them also. Shalom!
