Thanks for the detailed explanation and video. I’ve had this kit for 3 years now and I’m now getting around to opening it.

Rick, you are a wonderful teacher! I have no questions as to the process after watching this video. I realize I did mine wrong, with grow lights from the beginning. I'm learning so much from you. Thank you for this video.

Great video...lots of work & time for 'micro' food but you make it look easy and it's a quick turn harvest! I've tried and love other TrueSeed products, great service, thanks!

Can you speak on what type of lights, oh and the seed starter is that a true leaf product? Thanks for the info, I have the sprout kit. Love it.

How many hours of light do they need once they go into the light? I got blocks not pucks,how much water a block needs? Awesome video. Thanks for the info.
@StoneyAcresGardening Жыл бұрын
With the blocks you just have to play with it and figure it out. I break mine into smaller pieces. You need to leave the lights on for 14-16 hours.

@@StoneyAcresGardening Thanks. I am soaking my seeds tonight. I can’t wait to taste them.

@@StoneyAcresGardening it’s about 12 to 14 cups of water for a block of Coco core. Should do about three trays looks like.

I'm excited to try these. I buy them all the time at the local co-op. I've never done any kind of sprouts or micro greens. I'm definitely interested in the kit. How long can the greens stay in the tray? My only concern is we woukdbt go through the whole tray fast enough. Thank you for posting this and for such thorough guidance.
@StoneyAcresGardening Жыл бұрын
They can stay in the tray for a few extra day, and then the will last about a week in the fridge.

What light kit are. you using and do I need a special grow light?
@StoneyAcresGardening Жыл бұрын
No special grow lights needed. I just use a couple of LED shop lights. But if you have the space you could even use a windowsill

On all the other tutorials I’ve watched they put a tray on top with a brick for a few days. Can’t remember why. Is there a reason you’ve skipped this step? Do you use it when growing your kale and broccoli greens?

I know we want to order from this company and I’m sold, but can I grow micro greens from sunflower seeds harvested from the sun flowers in my garden? ( I’m a novice 😊)
@thomasmills393411 ай бұрын
Missed the best one... radishes.
@annmarieharvie3134 Жыл бұрын
If you can’t eat them all, can you freeze the sunflower micro greens?
@StoneyAcresGardening Жыл бұрын
I don't have any experience freezing them. I don't think I personally would try, it would really throw off the texture for me. It would be more like frozen spinach then. So then you would need to cook them.
@nicholasnarcowich9163 Жыл бұрын
I would have suggested that you start with "What are Microgreens, & why you want them..." because I don't know. I have liked your show, but will I skip it is the next 15 seconds? We shall see...

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind for next time
