In this video we look at the Oak Leaf Hydrangea, (Hydrangea quercifolia).
This is a wonderful Hydrangea with attractive flowers and foliage that is a feature from spring through summer and again from Fall/Autumn through winter when it turns to a brilliant burgundy red.
A plant that has brilliant foliage year round is a must for any garden and this ois one of the best.
Different varieties have different growth habits, with Munchkin, Pee Wee and Sykes Dwarf all being smaller growing. Joe McDanial is the largest reaching around 3 metres (12ft) in height.
